Last week was fall break so Kasen had 4 days off school! We started the party off with caramel apples. Tai helped me dip the apples and ended up getting a little burn on her hand from some hot caramel. I didn't even know til later though cause she didn't even cry and just left the hot caramel on her hand!
My favorite is watching Tai try to bite into them! Eventually we cut them up so they were easier to eat.

Kasen kept asking for a Halloween toy so I told the kids if they cleaned up the basement we'd get Arctic Circle happy meals for dinner that come with a Halloween flashlight. First and last time though cause happy meals be a waste of money! Holy cow.
During fall break Kyle went deer hunting so we went up Thursday night to camp with him in Grandpa's trailer. They got to make S'mores and everything.
Kasen took his adventure bag camping so he had his binoculars and his compass to help dad spot some deer. When I dressed Kasen and Kohen in matching camo Tai asked, "Where are my adventure clothes?" but she still had fun adventuring outside shooting cap guns with the boys. Bentley even helped teach her how to use the sling shot! She also liked pretending that the bathroom door was an elevator and made sure to tell us that Bentley was eating "twenty thousand Oreos!".
I remember camping in my parents trailer when I was little, we'd pretend the doors were drive through windows to get food!
Also, Kasen says that he and Kohen are the "huggie brothers" and gives him lots of hugs. It's super cute!
Kohen slept like a champ in the trailer and only woke up once. Tai and Kyle however, were up all night. Tai kept sleep crying and Kyle kept checking on Kohen.
Monday we went to pick Kyle up, but none of them got a deer. For the 13 years I've known Kyle he's got one elk, but zero deer. I don't know why they keep going to that same spot outside Fairview...
When Kyle is gone I turn on the fireplace so that he can't tell me it's too hot. :)

Sunday we went to Grandma and Grandpa Forsyth's for dinner and the kids got to do all sorts of fun Halloween crafts. Kasen says he loves doing crafts and taking things home. They made Pumpkin paper bag puppets. Kasen named his Pumpkin Head and Tai named hers LaLa. They made sucker ghosts and decorated pumpkins and paper plates with Halloween stickers.
We got a kick out of Kasen telling us that the pillow on the couch says, B-O-O with a shout at the end so it says, "BOO!"
Tai loves spinning in circles and singing while she spins. I don't know how she doesn't get dizzy and fall down more. She also is always yelling, "Giddy up brown cow!" and I have no idea where that came from.
They both have been eating our garden tomatoes like apples. A couple times a day they ask me to cut up a tomato and put salt on it so they can eat them. I was not a fan of tomatoes when I was little, I didn't start liking them until I was an adult.
