2024 is off to a good start! Although a little odd. We didn't get any snow for all of Christmas break and on January 2nd Kohen had his swimming suit on, jumping on the tramp! lol
Kyle paid off his truck last month and we ended up finding a 5th wheel trailer we both liked and brought home this month. It's a 2013 instead of the 2004 we had, and the kids are especially happy cause it is still a Cougar! I'm happy that it has the bunk house in the back and a fireplace and Kyle is happy that he doesn't have to fix all the things starting to break on our other trailer. There isn't a shelf right above our bed to hit our heads on all of the time and the awning isn't ripped off either.
We already have 7 camping trips on the calendar and Kohen is the most excited! Let's go!!
The other thing I did this month was cut off my hair to donate again! I was getting so sick of it being pulled and never holding curl when I wanted to curl it. So chop chop chop!
Kyle got to go ice fishing with Josh and to celebrate his dad's birthday with him in Wendover the first weekend of January.

Kolt is standing up everywhere all of the time! It's his new favorite thing.
Kasen and Tai love to write their own books as much as they like reading books.
Kasen and Knox are writing a Harry Potter fan fiction book together and Tai and Knox are working on 'The Craft Boy and Girl' Illustrated by Tai and drawn by Tuck.
Kasen and Tai had future career dress up day at school and Kasen took a pen and a notebook to be an author ("cause I don't know what JK Rowling looks like") and Tai didn't know she could dress up, but would have been an artist!
They also both had their very first piano lessons with Grandma Forsyth! Learning a lot more about music than I ever learned in my piano lessons. All I ever did was memorize the notes on flashcards.
Kohen went to his first week of Primary and Tai got to go to her first girls Activity Days activity! Even though the church records have her listed as male... Apparently we need First Presidency approval to fix that.
Kohen and Bryson held hands the whole way to the primary room and then as soon as they got to the door, Kohen lost it. He threw a fit and ended up coming to class with me. He wasn't with me long before he wanted to go to his class though, so I sent him walking down the hall to Primary by himself and he walked right in and stayed the whole time!
When Kohen is supposed to be in bed at night, sometimes we see him sneaking into the living room with his Sonic mask on and it's one of those times that we try to tell him to go get back in bed without laughing.
He's so sweet though cause he wants us to come lay by him and if we get up to come check on him later then he "saves our bot" on his bed. He rolls over to where we were lying to save our spot.
I also LOVE how he answers, "Yep" to everything!
-He is so excited to go to school this year. He got a backpack for Christmas and puts it on in the morning and tells me he is going to his "lunch gool" cause he remembers having lunch at the kids school last summer.
We finally got some snow too! Her first snowman had 3 balls and was bigger, but Kohen smashed it before I could get a picture and she had to rebuild it. Life with a Kohen...
We also got to go play with cousins one more time before Marissa flew back to Philadelphia. The kids got to make frames, snowmen, and handprints. Then they made reindeer PB&J sandwiches, frosted cupcakes and had hot chocolate too. All the things we didn't have time for at our family Christmas party.
We also all went to see Migration together at the theater for $5 Tuesday, one day when Kyle was off AND no cavities at the dentist.
It's been a good January so far!
