The Big One and Bigger News!

Yesterday we had Kasen's first birthday party!

 We ate cheeseburgers, blew some bubbles,

 Colored some monsters,

 opened presents,

 ate monster cupcakes,

 AND played a little bit on the slip n slide!!

 I just know that his favorite present though was finding out that he is going to be a big brother in December!!

I thought it would take a month or two for birth control to leave my system... apparently it takes about 3 days.  I really didn't want to have a baby in December because it is already SO busy with all the Christmas traditions, family Christmas parties, work Christmas parties, ward Christmas parties, our anniversary (which we already don't have time to celebrate), then when kids are in school there will be concerts and programs etc... and everyone will be all partied out, but we will still make it special and are excited for Kasen to have a friend!

I'm 14 weeks pregnant and have been sick all day, every day! Fun Fun!

At least I don't have to suck in when I see anyone now though.

The Birthday!

 The countdown to 1 year is over! And he looks about the same as he did when he was 3 months old.

He's learned a lot of things though and everyday he does some funny new thing that makes us laugh!

 

 This morning we ate birthday muffins!

I love how he sits with his little feet crossed in his high chair.

 Almost everyday he brings us his bubble wand to blow bubbles.  He leans into them so they will pop on his head too!  I play Disney songs on Pandora so he carries my phone around and sometimes we sing and dance!  

He loves putting things on his head like my headbands or clothes and just walks around and laughs.

 Later we went to the park and played and I took some more pictures :)

He's just so stinkin' cute!

 Kasen kept eating grass...

Then we came home and ate chocolate pudding pie!

We had fun taking pictures last month and I think he liked the frosting more than the chocolate cake underneath!

I found a shirt like the one he is wearing online for $19, but instead I found the same clipart online and ironed it on a $3 T-shirt, so proud of myself! lol

I love my bald little boy!
