March

This month we got to go to Kallie's baptism and meet cousin Adeline! She is cousin #14 on my side of the family, making 4 girls and 10 boys! I still had 8 weeks left so I was feeling quite giant and jealous.
The next time we saw her she had the hiccups and Kohen thought that was hilarious! He was laughing so hard every time he heard her hiccup! Haha
We also got to see a "saur saur! Saurus Rex!" at one of the new gas stations.
My mom, Emma and I all went to see Titanic at the Hale Center Theater together. It was my Christmas present to Mom, her Christmas present to me and her birthday present to Emma! It stuck closer to the facts and wasn't exaggerated with a major love story, but was still good. The stage is incredible! We all got boarding passes to scan and see the fate of that passenger. One said that the person survived, but nobody knows how. I wondered why nobody ever thought to ask.... lol
Kasen and Tai have become quite the social butterflies and I am trying to figure out how to balance all the playdates they plan and what the boundaries should be. Kasen made invitations for a weekly book club that he passed out to his friends, while Tai then made invitations for a fashion party that she passed out to her friends, each of them expecting like 11 kids to show up at my house.... I limited it to 2 at a time and we talked about how I need to talk to the moms and do the inviting.
I do like how effectively it motivates them to finish their chores when they get home from school though!
It was Pi Day on the 14th so we hosted another Pi Day party and invited some friends over for pie. So yummy!
Later that week was St. Patrick's Day. Leprechauns don't visit our house, but Tai let me pull out her 3rd tooth the night before so she still woke up on St. Patrick's Day to find a gold coin!
The kids are loving the new fireplace too. I'm too big to comfortably sit in front of it right now, but it looks like the kids have stolen my spot from me already anyways! #mykids
I love that they mostly love each other. Tai takes such good care of Kohen and also keeps sneaking into Kasen's bed at night to sleep next to him too.
Oh Kohen. He's only going to be my baby for about 4 more weeks. So last night when he hugged my whole head and would not let go, I let him fall asleep like that. I love his whole head squeezes.
Kyle came home early one night last week and came in while I was putting Kohen to bed and Kohen was so excited! "Dad! So happy see you!"
Every time Kyle leaves for work Kohen runs over with his arms up, "Gimme hug! Gimme kwiss!"
And whenever I wear makeup Kohen tells me, "Mom, I like yours eyes sparkaley!"
He's started telling us that he has a baby in his belly.
He still usually uses an L sound where a T should be and says he needs something instead of wants it.
"I need to be cozy"
He's been perfectly potty trained at home for almost 2 months now, but last week he peed on the floor like 5x within a few days! What is that all about?! So I'm not sure where we're at with that now...
He takes after Kasen in that it's near impossible to keep him dressed. He does not like having clothes on!

TOFW Boise, ID

I have officially moved past the pregnancy glow and into pregnancy puff and waddle phase.
But over the weekend I got to go on a girls trip to TOFW in Boise, the last hurrah before Kolt arrives, and it was so great!!
Friday, the morning of St. Patrick's Day, I picked up Ashley, Tedi and Katey and we headed to Idaho. The traveler's interstate oasis. Our first stop was Lava Hot Springs for lunch and a quick soak. We had lunch at 78th Main Street Eatery and where I had a burger and sweet potato fries. My favorite!
We discovered that we're each the oldest in our families, which makes it even more surprising how indecisive we all were! Haha Somehow we figured out where to go and what to do though.
Here I am 33 weeks pregnant. My hands hurt when I turn door knobs or use a pen and my feet get tingly and itchy when I stand too long, but 6 weeks left!....
After Lava Hot Springs we headed straight to Boise Convention Center for Friday night TOFW to hear Nathan Pacheco sing, then to dinner at Pie Hole Pizza.
All the food we found on this trip was so good! We wanted to try places unique to Boise and I ended up getting to eat almost all of my favorite things.
Lunch on Saturday was at Boise Fry Co. Where I tried PURPLE sweet potatoes AND a waffle.
And for dinner we found the yummiest Mango Curry. Although a little spicy. Our waiter looked like Tom Hardy, but we actually called him Tom Cross cause his tattoo matched Ashley's cross bracelet.
We stopped at Trader Joe's for snacks and I got some Cookie Butter ice cream that we took back to the Air BnB to eat while we played Wacky 6.
TOFW that day was so good too! Artist Kate Lee spoke, Becky Proudfit, Jody Moore, Sistas in Zion, Melinda Brown and the Bonner Family were all there. I didn't realize that the theme was still Glorious Light, like when I went in September, but luckily only 1 of the presenters was the same. We got free lollipops again too!
"There is always light if only we're brave enough to see it. If only we're brave enough to be it."
-Amanda Gordon
"The same light you see in others is shining in you"
Get spiritual stretch marks!

We woke up Sunday morning to drive home and made an impromptu stop to see Shoshone Falls. It was incredible!
I'm so glad I got to go on this trip with Ashley and Katey. We talked all about being in young women's together growing up and how much we loved it. Both of their moms were my YW leaders at one point and we always at so much fun at activities and camp and laurel retreats and trek. I'm so grateful for the good experiences I had that probably made it easier to build a testimony too.
Love you girls!

Jr Jazz

Tai (not Taj) played her last Jr Jazz game of the season today and has loved it! Even though her coach thought her name was Taj most of the time. Lol
She didn't make any baskets, but she is a fantastic passer to her teammates and blocker.
 Go Tiger Bulls!

With Jr Jazz, Tai got tickets to go see a Jazz game and Jordan and Charly got to go with them. Her favorite part was hitting each other with the thunder sticks.
Aiden and Hunter were both on her team too.
Grammy Tammy and Grandma Forsyth even came to watch one of her games! She definitely wants to play again next year and I can't wait to watch her.
