Last week we got to go see Kyle be sworn in as a Unified Police Officer and receive his badge! His dad got to pin it on him and Sheriff, Jim Winder, spoke about the the lack of good officers being because the younger generation is lacking in courage and bravery and the ability to socialize or serve their community. I agree that it takes a great deal of courage and bravery to be an officer, that most people simply don't have.
The next day we went to feed ducks with Bentley and Kennedy!
Kasen thinks he is a duck though because he fed more of the bread to himself.
His feet have been peeling for months, no idea why! It's getting worse now though.
He is into EVERYTHING! Such a trouble maker. And this is the face that I get when I tell him, "No!" He just laughs at me!

I take him out and he gets right back in. We are going to be in trouble when there are two!
He's so cute when he sleeps though :) And when he dances. He's added spinning to his dance moves!
Tuesday though I got to go to my 20 week, gender reveal ultrasound!
Kyle couldn't be there so I had them write it in an envelope for us to find out together later.
We cut a cake and found out that we are having a girl!
We both had hoped we might have a boy so that Kasen would have a friend. The last 5 cousins, 8 if you count 2nd cousins, have all been girls! Poor Kasen.
But I'm still excited to know that we'll have both!
Her name will be Tai Lynn.
So excited!

I wish you would have told me when he was getting sworn in... I have never been able to see him be sworn in yet at any of his placements. Tell him congratulations for me though... so proud of him.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I seem to recall that my sister went through a period of her feet peeling like that and they said it was fungus-related (athletes foot). Have any doctors given you an opinion on it? Try putting lotrimin on it for a while.
