Cheap Fun for October!

Last weekend I went with the girls to walk around Gardner Village.  I'd never been before, but we did a fun little scavenger hunt looking for all the witches around the shops!
That is Kasen trying to get his blanket back.  That past week or so he had started to like taking his blanket with him around the house.  He never liked a binky so maybe a blanket will be his thing...
Good thing Melanie has a life size witch upstairs so Kasen was prepared to not be afraid.
We went to dinner after where Kasen opened a sugar packet, rubbed it all over his hands and then licked it all off.
Before we left we hung out at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  That's where the chair that spins is and it's Kasen's favorite thing to do there!

The next week we went shooting with Hayden and Lyndsey.  I was super impressed with how well Kasen kept his ear plugs on!

 Pumpkin Cream Cheese Swirl Muffins.
Delicious!
My pumpkin roll last year was a huge fail, but who cares when you have these?!
Kasen wanted to chew on my apple core.  This little stem is all that was left of it by the time Kasen was done with it! Haha

Lyndsey bought him this dinosaur that he loves.  He roars at it all the time and we let it sleep with him so he has a cuddle buddy. So adorably cute!

 Jaker's Jack-o-Lanterns in Springville
We went there this week with Ashley and Hazel and it was the best $2 that I have ever spent!
So much fun!
They ran around in this hay maze together,
Then we went on a hay ride around the pumpkin patch and corn fields.  Kasen made sure my hand stayed on his tummy holding him.
 We got to see animals!

 Including a Kangaroo!
Kasen loved trying to feed the goats and llamas grass and corn husks that he'd find on the ground.
Then they played in the corn pit!  He rolled around in the corn for so long.
Then we picked out a  couple pumpkins.
Kasen liked taking the stickers off the pumpkins to put on his shirt too.
He loves pointing out pumpkins whenever he sees them and was so happy to go on a wagon ride with his pumpkin.  Definitely a worthwhile trip!

On the way back from looking at more houses we stopped at a park and he played on the swing and the slides.  He prefers rolling over to go down the slide on his tummy.
He's at such a fun age! Learning so much and always doing cute, new things.
We just LOVE him!!
