"I Love Candy!"

Halloween is so much fun. I'm a big fan. And this year was pretty easy because I didn't even need to buy costumes for Kasen or Tai. This was the first year they picked their own costumes and they wanted to be characters they already have dress ups for! I kinda tried to get Kasen and Kyle to be Olaf and Kristoff with us, but Kasen was all about being the Black Spiderman, Miles Morales. So we were a house divided with Kohen as a double agent.

Kyle said he is Spiderman's biggest fan for Halloween. Kasen saw Kohen's Spiderman onsie and Walmart and asked, "Can we buy Kohen theeese? They look so cute, he can dress like a hero!" And I couldn't say no.

Tai was so cute and kept asking to dance with me. So we'd spin in a circle till I started feeling dizzy! I love that we got to use our very own corn stalks to decorate our porch this year too!

Our menu for Halloween was chicken chili, sweet cornbread, graveyard dirt cups AND witches brew homemade root beer! Grammy came to have dinner with us and Krista and Will came to trick-or-treat with us too! Later we stopped by Lyndsey's house for a treat and went to drive by another house decorated with dancing lights to listen to with the radio.

The 60 degree weather was absolutely perfect! Kasen didn't even want to wear his jacket. We found Hank and Quinn outside to walk around with and Kasen was in heaven. They were all running from house to house (he only fell and dropped his candy twice). I loved hearing him be so excited, "This is so much fun! I love candy! Halloween is the best day ever! I love Halloween!" Me too Kasen. Me too!

 The spookiest thing though is that Kasen is taking after Kyle in the sleep walking department. For 2 weeks now, nearly every night between 10-11pm Kasen come upstairs wandering around crying, but will not acknowledge us talking to him at all. At first it was maddening. Now it's just creepy. So we're going to start putting them to bed at 7 instead of 8 to see if that will help him.
