Dive into Five

    Happy Birthday to this 5 year old! We woke up and made some birthday muffins per her request.

This year Tai chose to party Mermaid style! On her birthday Charly called to wish her a happy birthday and Tai had no idea how to hold the phone to her ear to talk to her! Haha My kids mostly talk to people through Marco Polo messages so not being able to see someone on the screen was too confusing.

Kyley made her mermaid cake and it was AMAZING!! Like so fabulously perfect!

The rest of the menu included clam shell cookies, sand dollar cookies, peanut butter and jellyfish sandwiches, sea shell and shrimp pasta salad, mermaid punch and some seaweed and fish candy! I had so much fun making all the food.

Her favorite part of her cake was the brown sugar sand all around the bottom of the cake! She scooped all of it up to eat. And I let her. Cause it was her birthday.

And then she opened presents! Stephanie gave her the pink coat that she has been wearing ever since she got it, EmmaLee's family gave her Elsa and Ana barbies, and Melanie and Jack gave her a Cinderella Barbie and a crown. 

Grandma and Grandpa Forsyth gave her a Frozen activity tote and a bracelet making kit. She also got bracelet kits from Grandpa Kelly and Kyley's family. Lyndsey gave her a couple "spark-a-ley" dresses, Kallie and Reagan gave her scribble scrubbie pets and Naomi sent her some stickers and drew the cutest pink world.

Sydney's family gave her a mini mermaid garden and a mermaid sticker book, Krista gave her a ginormous rainbow unicorn and Grammy Tammy is taking her on a birthday date!

She still loves giraffes, the color pink and watches Frozen multiple times a week. She is always singing and rhyming and telling me she loves me. She is my biggest helper with Kohen, sleeps with her light on cause she's scared of cats and will scream in your face when she doesn't know what to say when someone talks to her. Sorry! At her well check visit today the doctor told us she is taller than 9 out of 10 girls her age. Her super power of choice is super vision and when she grows up she wants to be an artist.

After Tai's birthday party Kyle's family went to see Zoo Lights and out to dinner at Chilies. The kids heard  another table singing Happy Birthday and so Kasen and Kallie made sure to tell our waitress that it was Tai's birthday too! That's when she learned that some places give you free ice cream on your birthday!

The funniest thing about Tai right now is how she has started calling Kasen brother, but still calls me Amber! Haha And that is Kohen's bear that she stole from his bedroom. Good thing she has a giant unicorn now so that Kohen can have his bear back.
