New Years Eve 2021
Last time we spent New Years Eve with Kyley and Jordan was 2008, back before they'd ever even kissed! So this year we made plans to celebrate together! Mark and Lyndsey stopped by for a couple hours, but left before any of the hard laughs began.
First we ate all the yummy food though. The traditional chocolate fountain, which I thought was broken, but then Bentley fixed it! Yay Bentley!
Kyley and Jordan made cookies, pigs in a blanket, rattlesnake bites, a cheeseball and chex mix and Kyle smoked some jalapeƱo poppers too.
Party Princesses living the chocolate life! Collins had the right idea about dipping her Chex mix into the chocolate fountain. Then they all ended up just dipping toothpicks to lick the chocolate off.
Downstairs the kids played Just Dance and Twister while upstairs the adults played What Do You Meme and then Telestrations. Both hilarious!! We were all laughing so hard.
Everyone except Kohen made it until the midnight, New Years Eve countdown. Complete with party blowers and poppers, which Kohen slept through!
Kohen found leftover hats this morning though and the kids did the last few poppers that never ended up being popped last night. I also learned that Kohen knows how to say, "Cheese!" for pictures now too! He also does a great party blower impression when he has one in his mouth and doesn't actually know how to blow it. Haha
Earlier in the day on New Year's Eve went up to my Mom's house in Brigham City to have lunch and play games with her, EmmaLee and Dakota's family. We played Taboo and Mexican Train! Kohen was loving the chips and salsa. I was so surprised that he liked the salsa enough to eat as much as he did!
Gonna go finish off the extra bubble and shrimp platter now. With my shrimp buddy, Tai. Even though she says she prefers the shrimp on the kabobs!
Happy New Year!
