We have been swimming with all the friends on our Shark all month long! Living off popsicles and sunshine is what summer is all about.
The last day of June was a Friday and it was quite the party! It was the last day of free lunch at the school, the last Free Frazil Friday at the gas station AND it was the day Crumbl opened here in Eagle Mountain, so we got to go get a free cookie and spin a wheel to win some fun Crumbl swag!
It's a good Sunday walk when both our babies fall asleep in the stroller!
We were also invited to go to dinner with Kyle's Grandma Bowen this month. We were so impressed with how quiet and well behaved the kids were in the restaurant that we took them out for ice cream afterwards.
I love how much everyone loves Kolt.
The kids are always playing with him, trying to help him, and asking to hold him. Kasen and Tai are getting better at standing up with him and it freaks Kyle out! I don't mind them trying to learn to help take care of him though.
I was able to finally take my Mom out for her birthday, now that Tai and I don't have strep throat, and we decided to go see Sound of Freedom. I was glad I got to see it because human trafficking definitely needs more awareness brought to it so that good people can fight against it. It's disgusting how many horrible people in the world are part of that business.
"God's children are not for sale!"
Kelly took all of us to the Ute Stampede Rodeo again and we stayed the whole night, but there were no motorcycles again this year.
My favorite things were Kohen's cheeks getting squished by his ear protection, watching Tai dance like a party animal and of course the American Flag being flown into the stadium.
Tai has been asking to make rock candy ever since she got the Kitty Sweet Tooth book for Easter with the recipe in the back of it. So we finally made some rock candy. And they found out it's not as good as it seems....
Grammy Tammy took us swimming at the Provo Rec Center and it ended up being the perfect place to go! It was inside to keep Kolt out of the sun and the deepest part to swim is 4ft. so Kasen and Tai could both swim without any floaties and the babies had a little kid area to stay in so that I had the minimum to worry about with 4 kids at a pool.
I was actually surprised that Kasen went right over and jumped off the 10 foot rock cliff over and over. Both he and Tai were loving the big water slides too. The lifeguards kept blowing whistles at Kohen for climbing up the little kids slide though.
Later that same day I had plans to go on a hike with Heidi at Albion Basin! We ended up hiking all the way to Cecret Lake and it was 4.75 miles there and back. So beautiful too with all of the wild flowers starting to bloom up there.
