February has been great so far! The very first weekend, Kyle took the kids to see the new DogMan movie and the next day I took him to see a Dry Bar Comedy show! We even got dinner at the Chili's where we very first went out to lunch together. When you used to be able to get 2 for $20 meals with Texas Cheese Fries and a Chocolate Moulton Lava Cake. Now you can't even get one meal for that much.
I've wanted to try these Valentines with the kids for a few years now and this year was the year! They turned out so cute! We also painted Valentine's cards again this year too. Stealing more ideas from the internet.
I usually do the string maze while the kids are at school, but Kohen didn't have preschool today so Kyle and I did it while they were sleeping the night before! Worked out to do it in the morning since my kids don't have school til 9:15am.Kohen was so excited to see the "Lasers"!
Kyle taught Kohen how to FOLLOW the string this time and to pretend his hands are eating the string as he goes so the whole time we could hear Kohen, "Nom nom. Nom nom nom." Haha
Kasen got a new pair of shoes, Tai got some earrings, Kohen got a Spiderman hoodie and Kyle got some BOM socks.
I love all my little Valentines and especially my one big Valentine!
Kyle made me some yummy treats and we're going on an overnight date in a couple weeks!
Galentine's fun included going to visit my Grandma Forsyth while she's staying at Uncle Robbie's house to recover from her knee surgery, a sushi date with Mom and Emma for Emma's 30th birthday and coloring Heidi's hair. She had left over dye already mixed so we she colored my hair too! We are hair twins! The last time I dyed my hair with someone, I married him.

Kyle took Tai on her Daddy Daughter Valentines date to see Frozen Jr. at The Ruth then to get a Mermaid milkshake at The Yard. She made him lots of love notes after they got home that night! I got a sweet note from her too. Love her!
Yesterday, Kyle took Kasen and Kohen ice fishing so Tai and I had a spa day together! We did gel nails, watched Wicked and used my face masks to pamper ourselves. My two little guy Valentines and Kolt's Valentine: his giant ball of blankets and stuffies that he tries to bring with him everywhere.
Today Grandma and Grandpa Forsyth came over to make Valentines sugar cookies with the kids. Kolt especially loved playing with the cookie dough!
Also made some cute Valentine's cookies for an RS activity we had.
So much love for all my loves! <3 <3 <3
Both Kelsey and Sydney brought us yummy sugar cookies too!
Sweet friends.
