Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was different this year. It's been over 60 degrees all week so the kids went out to jump on the tramp!
Christmas is the epitome of childhood, all the fun and magic, knowing you belong with your family and they love you and that there is good in the world. I just loved watching them laugh and play, totally free.
Kyle went to work for just a few hours in the morning so while we waited for him to get home we took pictures in Christmas jammies and watched the Nativity video.
They all wanted to take pictures with each other. Them hugging each other is heart melting.
The dog pile pictures were always my favorite ones growing up.
Airplane is a new one though!
We love our Santa Baby!
Once Kyle got home each of the kids picked a game for us to play! Kasen picked Kids Create Absurdity (like Apples to Apples), Tai won, Tai picked Uno Flip and she won, and Kohen picked Book of Mormon SWAT, which I won.

Grammy came to have dinner with us for Christmas Eve and Kyle made homemade Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches with fries. After dinner we made our Peppermint Blossom Cookies for Santa and turned on The Santa Clause.
The face you get when dad tells you, "no more cookie dough!"
Yes, there are a million pictures, but I love ALL of them and will look at them a million times.
THIS is Christmas to me.

Before Grammy left the kids opened their gifts from her. She renewed our Thanksgiving Point membership for another year plus got Kasen a frog dissection kit, Tai got a nail kit, Kohen got binoculars and Kolt got a couple Look and Find books.

Our neighbors drove by, French horn caroling from their truck so we went out to hear them, came in and sang Silent Night together and then sent the kids to bed.
Only one more sleep!
