The night of Valentines Day I had to go to class, but I still had a chance to give Kyle a little heart attack.
I don't know if any of you have been to The Chocolate in Orem, but they have the best thing called a Cazookie that Kyle and I love! Well Kyle made a Cazookie for me at home! He just put the cookie dough in a small frying pan and baked it just like that! It was so yummy! We watched Toy Story together so it was a nice night.
Friday night we went to a Valentines Day dance with some friends, just for fun! They had a photo booth that happened to be the most exciting part! lol Well, that and Kyle's face when he said he would give me $5 to lay in the snow and I did!
Saturday night Kyle and Jon took Sydney and I for our Valentines dinner at the Cheesecake Factory! Last time we tried to go the wait was about 3 hours, but we went early enough this time that we only had to wait about an hour. After dinner we all went and saw Safe Haven.
Kyle may hate going to dances and dancing, but he will see a chick flick with me and it is the cutest when I look over and his eyes are watering!
I have thought a lot about love this time of year. It can be an easy, but complicated thing all at the same time. It takes time to fall into love and I am learning that it takes time to stay in love as well. I don't believe in falling in love at first sight or in soul mates, but in experiences. Experiences together bring you together and seeing the proof that the other persons happiness really is more important than your own. You become committed because you are in love. It's about being the right person and helping each other be better together to reach your goals. You need to be able to rely completely on the other person or I don't think it will work. I learned that I don't have to be independent in marriage, I need my other half and that is how it is supposed to be. I don't need to try to have other close girlfriends or feel bad that I don't, Kyle is my best friend. I chose my love and I love my choice!
