Brother Fred Benson, Bishop Richard Helps, and Kyle
Our year of serving in the singles ward has come to an end. Kyle was released from his calling as 2nd counselor in the bishopric yesterday. I enjoyed being in the singles ward and I feel like I am leaving an area of my mission and will never see anyone there again!
I liked Kyle coming with me to relief society, but at least we will get to sit together in sacrament again! My favorite thing was when Kyle conducted fast and testimony meeting cause it meant I got to hear him bare his testimony. That is my favorite.
We got to bare our testimonies and the most important thing I could tell any youth is to do what it takes to get married in the temple.
The blessings of the temple are worth EVERY sacrifice. Any commandment that God gives is because it will bless us. The power and authority are on the earth to seal families together forever and make happiness last! I don't have kids yet nor have I been married very long, but I know that having been married in the temple has made a difference in my marriage. When you want something to last for ever you treat it differently.
The gospel is just so wonderful. Even if you aren't sure yet if it is true live it anyway. If you find out after this life that it's not true then you lose nothing, but if you live it now and find out it is true after this life then you gain EVERYTHING. Literally ALL the Father has! Eternal life, salvation, perfect happiness etc... Sounds worth it, plus I know that the gospel is true. The promises are all real.

And I am so grateful to know that my happiness with Kyle will last because I love him so darn much!
Whitney got married over the weekend too!
Congratulations Preston and Whitney!
