34 weeks and Graduated!!

I finally graduated!!
I have only been going to UVU since 2006, ya know like when it was still UVSC, so it's about time right?!  But as of Friday, May 1st I have a Bachelor Degree of Fine Art in Photography with a Digital Media Minor :)
All that is left is to have my BFA Photography show in August.
My school advisor told me it wouldn't be possible to graduate Spring of 2015 and that even if I could I would have bad grades from taking so many classes at a time, but I did graduate AND I did it with a 3.8 GPA thank you very much!  Feels so good to be done!
Mitt Romney and President Holland spoke at commencement and I liked what was said about happiness- Making a living is about what you get, but making a life is about what you give.
As long as you have someone to love, something to look forward to and something to do then you will be happy.
Jake and Kristi both graduated from USU with bachelor degrees too!

I have the greatest family! I'm pretty sure that every single one of them have participated in some sort of school project, whether it was portraits, videos or the first semester of college when I lost my whole project the week of finals and called my mom bawling! Not to mention Grandma and Grandpa Forsyth that have also paid all of my (and all their grandchildren's) tuition that scholarships didn't cover! Amazing!
I'm so thankful to have all of you in my life.

These are some of my favorite images from assignments I have done over my time in the photo program.

I made 10 11x14 prints in the darkroom from 4x5 film and even learned how to cut my own mattes!

This image of Aunt Katie came from working on my BFA project

The best news of all though is that I officially live in Cedar City with Kyle full time now!! Yay!
We have been living apart for the majority of the time since July, that is like 10 months!
After all that time though, the week after I finally move down here is when Kyle has a week long training in Vegas- so if anyone wants to road trip to Cedar City from May 11-15, I will be here working on a baby quilt!
During that time of driving back and forth from Cedar City I am grateful for three things:
1. I never got caught in a snow storm.
2. I didn't go into labor away from Kyle.
3. My car never died on the side of the road, as my check engine light has been on since July as well.
(I did have to get a tire fixed twice for having giant screws in them, but they never blew out while I was driving!)

Last week we got some maternity pictures taken by NicoleChristiansenPhotography so this is me at 33 weeks! Running out of room in there!

After I am 36 weeks a long I can't travel up to Utah County anymore.  I will be in PG for a couple baby showers next weekend, but after that the next time I come up here Josh will be home and I will have a baby! That is SO crazy!
I'm pretty sure this summer will be the new best summer ever.
