As of yesterday Kasen is one month old!
He has definitely been an adjustment, but we are getting used to him :) The first couple weeks felt like when I first went on my mission and being so busy that I barely had any time for myself, but as I go along I am figuring out how to get everything done.
This was Kasen's third fishing trip. The first two times we didn't catch anything, but when my mom came to stay with us she bought worms and that did the trick!
Kyle hates putting worms on hooks because he feels bad when they start to wiggle on the hook, but he wasn't about to let my mom do it for him either!
We made some homemade french fries to go with our fish and it was so yummy!
While my mom was here we also got to go to the temple! I have a feeling we won't be going every month anymore for a little while, but will keep trying to as much as we can!
The temple just makes life so much better when we are reminded about all the blessings Heavenly Father has for us and can keep an eternal perspective about what really matters.
Ahh! He is so cute! And smiles ALL the time!
At four weeks we took him on his first camping/boating trip with Kyle's family at Flaming Gorge!
He did awesome and slept a lot of the time on the boat. Luckily it wasn't very hot there at all last week!
The afternoons consisted of rain storms/the craziest hail storm I have ever seen!
