Month 4 Smiles

This morning we went to Kasen's 4 Month appointment and he gets to start eating some rice cereal today!  He weighs 16 lb. and is 26.75 inches long :)

At the end of September we got to go up to celebrate Melanie's 50th birthday and took the chance to go to the temple with my family also.  It was the first time we have all been in the temple together! Pretty neat.
This is the trail up Cedar Canyon that Kasen and I go for walks along.  Kyle told me there was a waterfall at the end of it, but the piece of cement that some water flows over is not what I would call a waterfall!
This was one of my favorite quotes from conference! It came from the women's session.  I love how conference just puts everything into perspective and reminds us of what is really important.  I made lots of goals to improve since watching it and am so grateful for inspired leaders and a prophet called by God to lead us.
Kasen especially liked watching MoTab sing.

Kasen has been rolling over for a month now and this is his victory face after figuring out how to get over his shoulder!
Other than that he still drools and he still sucks on his hands, with the occasional big toe.
Slowly he is getting better at using his binky!

In his sleep he's been rolling over to sleep on his tummy.  I probably should be more worried like Kyle is sometimes, but rolling him back usually wakes him up and I would rather sleep.

He was not a fan of me putting him in the leaves, they were too crunchy for babies, but worth a shot.

Look at those lips! So kissable right?!  And when he puts his feet together like that- adorable.
Over the weekend we went deer hunting with Kyle's family.  Kelly got an Elk during his hunt, but no deer this year!  Just my cute camo twins.

  1. These are such fun pictures!!! I love them. You're such an inspiration. You do such fun things and make the best of life.

P.S. I don't know if you have talked with your doctor about Kasen rolling over in his sleep to his tummy or not, but my doctor mentioned it to me when Hazel was that age. He said as long as the person putting them to bed, lays them on their back to sleep, whatever the baby does on it's on is ok. It's actually best not to move them. Anyways, maybe that will help Kyle. Glad someone else in this world worries. haha
