This is Halloween!

Happy Halloween!
I have never been to a pumpkin patch so we tried to go to one this year, but Cedar City didn't have much of one so we got ours at Smiths!

Earlier in the month we got Spooked through the mail :) It meant a lot since I still don't have any friends down here in Cedar City to share any fun with! It was the first year I didn't start Spooks myself cause nobody seems to ever pass them on!  We did though!  I am all about holiday fun.  I door-bell-ditched 3 families with kids in my primary class and the first one opened it while I was running away! They yelled after me, but I never looked back! Haha

I carved our pumpkin and roasted pumpkin seeds for the first time! They turned out pretty good!  I love pumpkin! This month I have made pumpkin chocolate chip bread, pumpkin cupcakes and a pumpkin roll (which was a big, giant FAIL).  Maybe sometime I will try a pumpkin pie :)

This year I was Alice in Wonderland with my White Rabbit!  Kyle had to work, but he is a party pooper and probably wouldn't have dressed up anyway.  We did go to a little festival at the park for a few minutes, but other than that we had one trick-or-treater at our door and I made soup in bread bowls for dinner!
Happy Halloween!

  1. That is so great that you get out and celebrate even if you don't have very many people to celebrate with. Your costume is so cute. Does Kasen recognize himself in the mirror? Did he like seeing himself with the makeup and ears?

    1. I didn't show him his costume, but we have put him in front of the mirror and he seems to like it!
