We spent last weekend up north for Naomi's baby blessing and had time to squeeze in a few more fun things while we were up there!
Saturday we went to the Provo City Center Temple open house. It was a good day to go too because it was snowing so much that the standby line had a wait less than 10 minutes!
I remember getting a news article in the mail while I was on my mission in 2010 and saw the picture of the tabernacle on fire.
It is amazing how magnificent and beautiful God's plan can turn something into that once seemed to be destroyed.
With all the artifacts we even saw the same S. Liddiard written in the book of those who originally worked on building the tabernacle. Maybe he is a relative? I don't know...
Sunday was Naomi's baby blessing. I decided to try making red velvet, white chocolate chip cookies for it! They aren't as cute as the ones on Pinterest and I think I'd rather eat my homemade oreo cookies, but it was fun to try something new!
Kasen also got to meet Naomi for the first time, since he wasn't allowed to go in the room at the hospital.
At first he wasn't sure about her...
But then he warmed right up! Such a stinker.
They are 6 months apart and next to her, Kasen looks even bigger!
Monday I got to go to Logan and spend the night with Ashley and Hazel! It was so great! We talked for hours and tried to play with bubbles, but Hazel and Kasen did not think they were as cool as we did! For some reason Kasen is TERRIFIED of big beards (like the one Steven has), but he had stopped screaming every time he saw him by the time we left! He learned how to climb up stairs and also probably broke a record for the number of times a baby can wake up in the night. Sixteen.
He woke up sixteen times!
Ashley made me the yummiest protein shake and I took her to lunch- it was an awesome weekend!
Tuesday night I stayed at my moms in Brigham City and we had a game night. I was happy I got to see so many people over the weekend! Kasen makes it harder sometimes, but the extra work is worth it!
Usually :)
