Mothers Day

It was a fairly normal day, except at church we got to eat cheesecake! I could stand doing that at church every Sunday!

A few weeks ago I answered a model call for Ashlee Fackrell Photography and she came to photograph my family at our house!  I was so excited to get some pictures with me in them, even though I had to convince Kyle to let her come (I played the do it for Mother's Day card).

So this is Motherhood Part 3:
While she was here we made some cookies!  Kasen loved it because it was probably the first time I have let him be on the counter.
We love making cookies.  I roll the cookie dough into balls and store it in the fridge so we eat warm cookies all week long.  PS chilling cookie dough in the fridge before you cook it is part of the recipe for a legit reason! It really does make the cookies so much fluffier instead of flat! Glad I finally figured that out.
It took some convincing for him to eat the cookie dough, but once we got him to take a bite he was hooked!  I won't tell you how many balls of dough he stole off the pan. Especially since eating raw egg is super frowned upon these days...
 I love my family!
Kristi and I also had some fun making these flower pots for the Grandmas for Mother's Day!
I love how cute they turned out.  Yesterday my mom had another potting party like last year so I got to bring home some flowers too!

Today we also got to talk to Sister Krista Liddiard one last time before she comes home in August!

Happy Mother's Day!
