We had a good Memorial Day weekend here!
Saturday we went to cousin Evva's adorable "Onederland" birthday party and Kasen loved dancing to the music they had playing!

Grandma Sandy with her Great Grandkids! Just missing Naomi and Marc.

Sunday was Marc's blessing day.
Now that there are no more missionaries coming or going we get to get group pics at the baby blessings! I love group pics!
Now that there are no more missionaries coming or going we get to get group pics at the baby blessings! I love group pics!
Except with babies cause they do not like group pics.
I got to do another lifestyle session and some newborn photos of baby Marc though!
I even tried dying some cheesecloth for the occasion :)
He wanted to be awake the whole time, but was still so calm.
He's got a good big sister, willing to feed him cookies!
Today we went to meet Kyle's family where they were camping at Vernon Reservoir.
We couldn't find their trailer when we got there, but we decided to fish anyway and about an hour later we saw them driving away!
It was Peeka's first time coming with us in the car and she did really well.
She LOVED swimming too! Kyle didn't really get a good chance to fish with her jumping around all over in the water though.
Kasen thought Peeka in the water was hilarious! He laughed so hard every time she jumped in and he liked throwing rocks.
About the 5th time Kasen rocked the chair until he flipped over face first into the water we were ready to leave.
This picture doesn't do justice to how DIRTY Kasen was! I have a long way to go when it comes to just letting everything be dirty. Even Tai somehow got dirt on her forehead!
Also, Tai is sitting up now! She figured it out on Thursday and has been sitting all the days since! Getting so big!
We had also tried getting out of the house that day by going to hobby lobby, but this is why moms don't often try "getting out of the house."
Usually it's not a nice break.
It can be a nightmare! Because you go somewhere only to find out that the baby carrier doesn't even fit in the tiny little carts, so you have to carry your chunky monkey baby on your hip while trying to pull a cart through the store on the day that you wore your silky shirt so that there is NO WAY your chunky, wiggle worm, baby is going to stay on your hip.
By the time you leave your arm is going to FALL OFF and you say to yourself, "Never again will I try to get out of the house. EVER."
But then I go home and am reminded why I can't have nice things and that stresses me out sometimes too! You would think it was nearing Christmas at the rate things are getting broken and destroyed around here!
The broom handle snapped off, Kasen broke my rice cooker, Peeka chewed up the hose and the Proactive I've been using has bleached my nice pillow case!
Let's not think about how we are trying so hard to save money and look at how stinkin cute Kasen is instead.
So cute!
Every morning he comes out of his room with his blanket on his head like that. I love it!
He's started to say "Thank you" more without me telling him to and calls me "mommy" sometimes. Usually at night when we're putting him to bed.
He holds his finger up and says, "time" because I'll tell him that I'll sing a song, read a book or give him hugs and kisses one more time. He thinks it just means again though!
