So far this month has been all about seeing friends and I am not complaining! I haven't been the one planning all of them either, which makes me even happier.

I got to go to lunch with Megan and Carrie (from High School) and we chatted at Chick-Fil-A for 3 hours! So great. I didn't even know they had a play place, but Kasen stayed in there and climbed up and down the levels the whole time. Also, I got pulled over on the way there and didn't even get a ticket this time!
Last week we had Kyle's friend from work over for dinner and they showed us a new game called Munchkin that was fun! Kyle wants to go buy it asap. Also, I won the second time!
Then I celebrated Ashley's birthday with her the next day! We skip birthday lunches (now that we have kids that we don't want to take to a restaurant) and bring each other after bedtime treats now.
We went gun shopping with Tammy then she watched the kids while we got to go on our monthly temple date!
We were hurrying to make it to the session, but I couldn't walk fast because my slip is too tight and Kyle couldn't walk fast because he kept his ankle socks on and didn't want anyone to see his ankles! We made it though! Haha
"The ordinances of salvation and exaltation administered in the Lord's restored Church are far more than rituals or symbolic performances. Rather, they constitute authorized channels through which the blessing and powers of heaven can flow into our individual lives." Elder Bednar
Sad thing though is that President Monson passed away at the beginning of the month. It's been so great to watch all the programs remembering him lately though!
He was the prophet that signed my mission call, the prophet that dedicated the Draper Temple where Kyle and I got married, and also spoke at my college graduation from UVU 3 years ago!
Russell M. Nelson is now the new prophet of the church! He's the only apostle I have ever met too!
February 24, 2011 he visited our mission in Campinas, Brazil. He spoke to us and I was sitting on the front row so then afterwards, when we got to shake his hand, I was the very first one! I just remember him looking into my eyes and feeling so lucky to be able to meet an apostle of the Lord and so thankful to be one of His missionaries.
One of Kyle's supervisors had given him a nerf gun for Christmas... I told Kasen he can shoot ONLY his stuffed animals. So I helped line them up for him.
We were 99% sure that he is left handed, but then he's started eating with his right hand sometimes. No idea what he'll end up doing.
We all went to the dentist and NO CAVITIES! Kasen did so much better the other 2 times that he's been. This time he did not like it! Even though he seems pretty excited to tell everyone he sees that he went to the dentist to clean his teeth.
The other day he put all of Tai's toys in her crib with her and then asked to get in too!
Teaching her all about how to jump on her bed. :)
The other night I asked him to tell me a story and this is the story he told me:
"One story Zebra!
One story ants!
One story somersault.
One story has milk. has moon.
The end."
It was the best! He is the best. Kids and what they learn to say is the best!
Except when they lie. Even though it's funny.
I gave him a cookie and then when I went to tuck him in bed he asked for another cookie. I told him no because he already had a cookie and he said, "Dad ate it!"
And when Kyle uses the pastry brush in the kitchen, to put mustard on the pork butts he smokes, Kasen always tells him that his painting is cute!

- Kasen has done better with potty training the 2 days we made him stay naked. He cries for his diaper, but then goes to the bathroom and hops on the toilet! Then he likes to put his potty chart stickers on top of each other to "cuddle".
- A little while ago I gave him a raw carrot and he took a bite then spitting it out said, "carrots are for rabbits."
- I LOVE when he says, "Makes me happy!"
- I love how Tai holds her feet up in the air for me when I go to put on her shoes and socks and also how she open and closes her hands at us whenever she wants something.
- She says "nana" now!
- She is also good at not trying to go down the stairs. She just stands at the top of them and waits.
He says "come on! come on!" while he plays Hungry Hippos. Also, he still cheats.
We had a sisters sleepover that Friday night. Sometimes you just need to wear onesie pajamas when you are almost 30 years old. Stephanie even asked to watch my old college home videos so that is what we did all day Saturday- it was so great.
Recreation of girls night about 10 years ago, when I lived at Raintree! That's too long to go in between sister slumber parties!
Then last night we had a sleepover at Jake and Kristis! She made the tastiest curry and mango rice too!
Then was so sweet and had offered to babysit for us while we went to see The Greatest Showman this morning! It was round II for me, but I have really wanted Kyle to see it. Because it is AMAZING!
We watched Les Mis with them last night too so it was a Hugh Jackman musical couple of days.
I love the snaps we send to each other. Aren't they the cutest little train?!
Later we went to Buffalo Wild wings with 3 other couples that live on our street. Per usual Kyle was the only one who never had his food brought to him! Guys, this happens to him ALL the time! It's always Kyle. Doesn't matter where we are, Kyle will be the one they forget about. Haha Also, when they came out to celebrate Becca and Corby's anniversary Corby told them his name was Jimal (the ward has learned Kyle's middle name!)- it was the best! Happy anniversary Becca and Jimal! Oh and last week my neighbor across the street invited me over for dinner because both of our husbands work at night. Guys, Kyle and I moved to an awesome neighborhood and I am just so grateful for the people I have in my life!
I need friends in my life, that is for sure. People around me are my source of happiness. So just thank you everyone that makes time for me and lets me know you are there even when there isn't time.
Relationships are the only things that matter in this life. Connecting. Bringing happiness to others.
I just love my people.
