We knocked the second to last thing off of our summer bucket list on Saturday by going to the parade for Peach Days this morning! We had a little bit of rain and wind before the parade started, but then the weather was perfect! Watching the runners go by made me so happy that I wasn't doing that again this year.

These two were the cutest together! So ready and excited to gather candy at the parade.
Naomi was a pro at putting her hand over her heart every time she saw the flag and would remind Kasen to put his hand on his heart too.
There were a couple good train floats that got a "Choo choo!"
They were both good at waving at the people with candy to let them know that they'd both like some.
It was a pretty slow start, but by the end there was lots more candy coming our way!
Tai mostly stayed in her chair, but towards the end she got down a few times to wave at the floats going by.
And to show us her moooooves.
Kasen was so excited that he got to give both a dinosaur high five AND Spiderman! All summer long the only shaved ice he'd ever order was the red and blue Spiderman one!
After the parade we got a slice of pizza (of course the cheapest option for food) and then planned to take the kids on a couple rides. (Which Tai is actually tall enough to ride some!) Until I found out that to ride the Ferris Wheel it was $6 per person. Plus the fact that I didn't have any cash and would be charged another $3 for the ATM.
So we stopped at the bounce house on our way back to the car and let Kasen play in there for a few minutes. What a fun day!
Last night we did the very last thing on my summer bucket list and slept outside!
Under the stars. Just Kyle and I.
I also donated plasma for the first time and got $50. Yay, my blood pressure and iron were both good enough to donate. Let's start saving for a trip to Europe! lol Although I like donating blood at Red Cross better cause they give my snacks after.
Aaaand that's a wrap.
My summer dreams are now complete, bring on the fall!
