Our Thanksgiving Point pass expired today so we have been living there this last month! It's been so great spending so much time there, usually 3 hours at a time.
We went to the Butterfly Biosphere right when it opened (not on spring break this time) and it was empty! So worth it.
They have big signs and multiple reminders stating that you cannot bring food or drink into the biosphere. So we are standing there and all of a sudden Tai is chewing on a handful of smarties! She hid them in those cute little pockets and I was sure we were going to get kicked out! Stinker, trying to get me in trouble!
We decided to try using the magnifying glasses this time and oh my gosh, it was adorable watching Kasen and Tai try to see the butterflies bigger.
We've been 3 times now and every time I tell Kasen that if he holds really still that a butterfly might land on him. He kept holding his little finger out hoping one would land on it, but no luck.
Every time we go Tai finds these pink goggles and wears them the entire time we play in the slide area.
There is also a tube that kids can put scarves into and air blows them up and out of the tube. My favorite thing of the week was Tai running in a circle with both her hands reaching up, trying to catch those scarves! "I got it, I got it!"
They also got to dig in the kinetic sand for toy ants and separated all the bugs that have wings and learned that insects are bugs with 6 legs, so spiders and scorpions aren't insects. Kasen was so cute telling Tai that butterflies are caterpillars with wings.
Since it was so hot in the Butterfly Biosphere I told Kasen we could get an ice cream if he'd stay in there with me longer. Tai was just on a giant adorable streak that day cause I was overjoyed watching her lick her ice cream and just love every second of it!
That evening Grandma and Grandpa Liddiard and Aunt Lynds came to watch Kasen play T-ball. He would point us out to every base coach and was so excited this time. Also, it was freezing cold! We were all wrapped up in big blankets.
We went back to the Tulip Festival again too!
Knox and TaiLynn were too cute!
Kasen saw a couple lady bugs in the fountain so I fished them out and they looked at them for a little while before we put them on a flower.
Yesterday we went to the farm to get one last pony ride in. Tai didn't ride one last year so this was her very first time! She kept saying, "hold on tight!"
And during our tractor ride Kasen told me "this is so much fun!"
Today we spent our last day at the Curiosity Museum. Kasen FINALLY was brave enough to hold my hand and walk across the rope bridges! He was so scared, but did it! Which meant he also got to finally play in the airplane. Tai is a monkey and stayed up there by herself walking back and forth on the ropes long after Kasen left.
Well, it's been fun Thanksgiving Point!
But now the splash pad is about to open so you will soon find us there. All summer long.
Hopefully the freezing rain stops before then.

Tai is definitely getting braver. The two times I took her to the park she made me nervous on a couple of the climbing toys where she had to traverse bars spaced apart but she always did it by herself and never fell. Ironically, one time I was videoing her climbing and then I became aware that Kasen was just out of the video shot crying because he was hanging from a monkey bar about to fall and could not get his footing back onto the platform so I had to stop filming to run and rescue him.
