Seven Seven Seven

 Seven months old today!

3 days ago his first little tooth came through on the bottom and he's been sitting up by himself when I sit him down. He still isn't crawling yet, but rocks back and forth on his hands and knees before going into his push up position. The baby gate is officially back up, at the top of our stairs. He's also fallen off the couch a total of 4 times now too... One of the times because Kasen didn't want Kohen touching his game and put him on the couch. He tried fruit for the first time yesterday. He's been eating baby cereal in the mornings and baby vegetables in the evenings for the last little bit, but now we've moved on to some fruit! His PR for finishing bananas is under 2 minutes.

I still nurse him to sleep at night, during the night and to put him to sleep for naps, but you know he is really tired when sometimes he stops nursing, screams and thrashes around for a good 30 seconds and then is out! Every time I go in to nurse him at night Peeka follows me in to lay by the rocking chair while I nurse and then follows me back out when I leave. It's the only time I think her following me is cute. Kyle's most favorite thing though is that when he wakes up, even if he's crying, as soon as he hears us open the door to come get him he is all smiles and so excited to see us!

Day 16 of a dairy free diet and even though his skin looks better sometimes, there are other times it still looks just as bad as before. I don't know what else to do! I'm definitely not feeling like the results are worth the effort of this dairy free diet. We've tried a few new recipes from around the world this week though. Greek Chicken and Rice, Thai Coconut Chicken Curry, and Italian Sausage and Broccoli Pasta were our dinners this week. And Oreos are dairy free so I guess that is all that really matters.

Quite the collection of eczema approved, doctor recommended smorgasbord of creams, ointments and medicines. Guess my collection is not yet complete... We put a humidifier in his room and have been bathing him more to moisturize right after a bath though too.
The day before we went to the doctor.
Day 7 after using Eucrisa.
Day 12, still scratching his head. Even after we finally found some jammies in his size with the hand covers on them!
And first park day of the year! Loved being out in the sunshine.
