Jumping Through Life

This trampoline is the best thing that has happened so far this spring! This kids LOVE it and have been outside on it for hours nearly every day since we've had it. Which means they don't spend their time in the backyard making mud, digging in the dirt or collecting gravel to bring inside for their rock collections. Kasen can do front flips and they play Dead Man, Crack the Egg and Bum Wars. Tai is good and not cracking when she is the egg too.
We're gonna have sleepovers and jump with the sprinklers under the tramp all summer! Trampolines are what summer childhoods are made of.
Hopefully we successfully make it through the summer with no broken bones...
We celebrated Cinco de Mayo with tacos and games at the Eason's new house. And Quinn and Tai did the cutest little make overs on themselves. I'm a super fan of Tai's blue eyeshadow.
I'm a fan of how she begins most of her sentences with "even" too. And how when she knows she is about to be questioned about something she knew she wasn't supposed to do she hurries and says, "I love you!"
We also got to go to Cooper's baptism. And they sang the Rainbow song! Still Kasen's favorite song that we sing before bed every night. He loves it. Kyle and Jon have been friends since they were eleven year old scouts so it's fun to see the kids together at almost the same ages. Beckett and Tai have loved being in the same preschool class this year.
Kasen's other favorite thing is now waffles for breakfasts, with syrup, without bananas and not cut. No more strawberry yogurt! So most days Tai and Kasen have waffles.

We got new carpet upstairs this week. So while we had all the furniture moved out we also painted our bedroom (which had mismatched paint on the walls) and our bathroom so it's not blue anymore!
It was musical beds all week for me and Kyle. We slept a couple nights in the guest bed then one night on a mattress in the basement. We also moved my computer and desk out of our bedroom and into the guest bedroom so our bedroom feels that much bigger now!
You know you're an adult when you are excited about new carpet. Our other carpet was 15 years old though and you could tell!
Kasen was such a good sport while we worked on moving and painting. He wanted to play Quirkle with us, but since we told him we couldn't he decided to play anyways and played our turns for us! He would come back every few minutes and tell us what all of our scores were. Of course Kasen won. I'm glad he still had fun playing Quirkle with himself.
