Kasen had his last soccer game on Saturday, May 7th! Go Silver Sharks!
And a couple games ago he even ended up scoring TWO goals! After we bribed him with dollar bills. He usually doesn't care to go after the ball much, but after his last game he asked if we could sign him up for soccer again... So we'll see.
Especially since nearly every game was either so cold or we were getting wind blown into dusty oblivion. Our car is definitely going to need a new air filter cause the dust has somehow been pumped right up into our car.
According to Tai, "It's Christmas spring it's because it snows on spring and it is so cold on spring when it's supposed to be warm on spring!"
Tai, on the other hand, has a plan! Whenever the ball starts heading toward the other teams goal she runs past the ball, all the way to the net, hoping to stop it from going in. So we keep telling her to turn around and stop the ball before it even gets to the net. The one time she was able to stop the ball from going in she was so proud though,
"I knew it was a good plan and I always wanted to do it and it worked a lot!"
I love that she tries!
Go Lilypads!
Her last game was on Saturday, May 14th and we missed it to go on our Alaskan Cruise. Grandma Melanie and Jack took her though and Kyley was also there to take pictures for me. Thank you so much!
The weather was actually enjoyable that morning and Tai even made a goal!
Go TaiLynn and go Lilypads!
