One Month and Memorial Day

ONE month old. Still on oxygen.

We've done tummy time with Kolt a few times and I have seen him roll to his back 3x already. Is that normal for a 1 month old?!

He sleeps great at night for us in his sleep sack. From 9pm-7am I only ever have to wake up to feed him twice. But during the day he doesn't sleep as well unless he is sleeping on someone. And when he is awake he thinks he is starving. All the time.

Tai is getting good at binky duty and sometimes "waddling" him and getting him to go to sleep. She keeps asking me if I think she'll be a good babysitter when she gets older. Yes, please!

Each morning when Kohen wakes up he looks for baby Kolt to tell him, "Good morning baby Kolt" and to "pat" him.
We have to keep his hands covered or he will tear off his oxygen stickers and scratch his face.

Our kids don't get sick very often, but when they do it's on a holiday weekend and the first family camping trip of the year. Last year for Memorial Day we missed our camping trip to Strawberry because Kyle and I had covid and both Tai and Kohen were throwing up. This year we missed most of camping at Scofield because all 3 kids have had something coming out one end or the other every couple hours or so since Thursday night. Our kids have been talking about sleeping in the trailer for months, especially since we missed Goblin Valley over spring break this year too. But I'm sure cougar had fun camping at Scofield without us. Kasen and Kohen had fun fishing the one night they did get to camp though!

Here's to hoping that Memorial Day 2024 will be the one that we get to leave the house!
