Scofield

Over Memorial Day weekend we went camping at Scofield again. Might be the first time in 4 years we'll make it through the last week of May without anyone getting sick too! We convinced Kasen and Tai to miss the last day (1.5 hours) of school so we could leave Thursday night and stayed until Tuesday.
Our first day there, all of the cousins got to make tie dye shirts and pillow cases.
The next day Kyle took Kasen and Kohen shooting with Hayden's family.
Not long after they got back a water fight started with Hayden and Bentley and almost everyone ended up wet! Kasen was loving it! Although it wasn't the best idea to do in newly tie dyed shirts... The dye was rubbing off onto everyone's skin.
Kyle wanted Hayden to, "Have your own challenge!"
Kohen was trying to get Oakley and Dakota to play Zombie Tag with him and was showing them how to make a Zombie face, telling them they have to walk slow. It was so funny!
Sunday night, after the rain stopped, the kids all got to make s'mores over the campfire.
Kolt has found that he has pockets and loves to walk around with his hands in his pockets! He also thinks that when he coughs he has to use my hand to cough into... He comes to find me to hold my hand up for him to cough on.
The other funny thing this trip was Kolt making sure we said a prayer before eating. If we hadn't prayed yet, he would yell till I'd look and see him folding his arms and putting his head down waiting for us to pray.
The girls made a fort in the trees, Kasen fell into some burrs and got a cactus butt, and there was lots of bracelet making and some painting. Thank you Kristi for bringing all the crafts!
These are Kohen's Spooky Stripes and a buttcheek cut in half?... He is obsessed with the word buttcheek right now. He also found a tree he was excited to climb!
Kolt loves playing with cars, lining them up and driving them around. So cute!
Kyle got to do lots of fishing when we were there! I don't know if I believe him when he says he doesn't catch anything cause the couple times I walked down there he was catching lots of fish! He just doesn't bring them home cause "ThEy ArE In ThE SlOt LiMiT". Can't keep them if they are 15"-22", so dumb! People gotta eat!
Tai LOVES fishing! She made her own pole to fish with and sat down there with Kyle longer than any of our boys. She also says she wants her own blue tackle box.
Luckily Bentley does not care about the slot limit and brought me 7 fish! I baked some Rainbow and Cutthroat with different seasonings and me and the kids ate it all gone! The other reason that Bentley is the best nephew (and conveniently my only nephew on Kyle's side) is that he made me and Kyley matching bracelets! So nice of him!
We played games every night; Secret Hitler, Blank Slate, Hues and Cues and part of Phase 10, with lots of making fun of Kelly.
Happy Memorial Day!
