New Year's Eve we spent eating food and playing Bohnanza at the Gneiting's house!
Kasen and Tai even stayed up all the way until midnight.
Tai got a little beat up by Kasen though. After being squished into a toy container and sat on, she ended up with a big scratch on her forehead too. BUT we made it to 2019!
New Year's Day Kyle took Kasen on a date to go shooting with his family, while I stayed home and got a head start on my new years resolutions. I started reading a new book and memorizing The Living Christ. I've memorized the first 3 paragraphs so far and even ran a couple times this week!
Later on New Years Day the Easons and Gneitings came to our house for more games and some homemade ice cream! We played Code Names and True Colors.
Friday night we had a sisters sleepover at Kristi's house before she moves. Jake had already left to go to Texas that morning to start his new job at SpaceX, while Kristi sells the house. It was good times eating pizza and chocolate cake, watching the Office and gleeking on Steph.
The next morning before I headed back home I took Natasha to lunch for her birthday. She took me to University Grill in Ogden and their Greek food was delicious! Like so good!
I love birthday lunch dates, they are my favorite!
HBD Natasha!
I wish I could say that Kasen had a great first day in Primary yesterday, but he actually spent all of primary in time out for crying about not wanting to go. He did go up with me to the pulpit to try bearing his testimony though! He'd been asking me since March, so I finally let him, but he got scared and wouldn't say anything. It was time for me to get up too. I didn't get up once last year even though I try to make sure I get up at least once a year.
Good news though- I have been released from nursery! Kyle got released from young mens too so that I could be called to be a Laurel Advisor. I'm kinda excited about it. I LOVED young womens growing up. Which is why I had no problem going to double the youth activities with both my moms ward and my dads ward.
Bring it on.
