Quarantine Week 2

Yesterday we did a dress up, fashion show, photo shoot!

Complete with nails and make up.

 Tai got the cutest little pretend make up set for Christmas and Grandma Forsyth gave Tai lots of cute princess dress ups for her birthday so we've been ready for this for a few months now.

I love watching Tai put her make up on and how when she does my make up she always makes sure to put the blue eye shadow on me because she knows that is my favorite color.
"Mom, you are almost look beautiful!"

 No matter how many times I tell her that this one is for her lips, she insists that it's for her eyes.

These are the faces you will get for telling her that it's not for eyes:

 "You are wrong and I am right!"

And then she will continue to use it under her eyes.

Her favorite dress ups are her Elsa ones!

This is how Tai whispers to you, with her hand up to the middle of her mouth! It's the cutest, especially cause she's usually coming to whisper, "I love you"

I also love that my kids think moster is a word because we go back and forth at night with, "I love you" "I love you more" "I love you most" "I love you mostest" "I love you moster" Sometimes we just skip right to moster.

-Also we've been working with her more on correcting her lisp. We've been told not to draw too much attention to it, but maybe once a day I'll try correcting one of her words and try to get her to keep her tongue inside her mouth when she talks. But then she thinks she has to keep her teeth together to talk at all! Poor Tai

- She loves using the past tense with a future time which is another one of my favorite things she does. ex. "Mom washed my shirt next week." or "Kasen told me that tomorrow." So funny.

Kasen got in on the dress up party too! His black Spiderman costume is his favorite and it even has a zipper in the front that he can use to go pee. Haha

-Kasen has decided that he wants to be a cop when he grows up so he can put thieves in jail like dad. Kyle says he will deter him from following through with that as much as possible! When we ask Tai what she wants to be she either says Elsa or a mamma. Right now she says she will have 3 babies.

- I also love how any time Kasen realizes the heater is on, he will hop on top of his heater vent underneath his Spiderman blanket and hang out in his warm bubble! He gets that from me.

- What he and Kasen get from Kyle is wanting to eat bread balls. They take a piece of bread and squish it into a ball before eating it. All Kyle.

- They both are also fans of coloring black holes aka scribbling a giant scribble on a piece of paper until the paper all but rips. Black hole.

- I love when Kasen prays and hearing what he prays for. Anything and everything on his mind. ex. that he loves yogurt, that Peeka is his favorite dog, that we lost Meeko, that he needs to brush his teeth, that President Nelson is his favorite one, that he loves his family and Tai etc.

He insists on only praying for breakfast though.

 Tai usually prays her same prayer, in the tiniest whispers too.

 Super happy they have each other to play with!

Especially since I am quickly running out of quarantine activities for them.
