Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Sunday, Kasen had been asking to do crafts so I cut out some paper plate shamrock hats for them to color for St. Patrick's Day.
And then that morning we made a big stack of green Lucky Charms pancakes for breakfast!
Kasen kept telling me there are no Leprechauns in Utah. lol
We played outside with chalk for a little while. Tai keeps rubbing it on her lips like lipstick though. Monday I told Kasen to make a hop scotch and when I saw how small it was I suggested making a bigger that has squares big enough for his feet. He said, "Okay, but this one is just for the baby!"
For dinner we mixed it up. Kasen requested green eggs, Tai wanted green beans, and I wanted green shell pasta, so that's what we had for dinner! It's not St. Patrick's Day without green food.
"Steam roller coming in!"
Tai was given this Play-Doh hair salon for Christmas and it took being
quarantined for me to dare open it. But I finally did. I love how the
hair salon squeezes the play doh into teeny tiny pieces through teeny
tiny holes that need to be cleaned... But ya know what, a lot of kid's
dreams are made of mother's nightmares.
Between that and the mud messes they keep making with Peeka's water in the backyard, at least they are bathing as often as they should be! With plenty of water all over the floor afterwards to clean up too :)
