This year for Memorial Day my mom invited us to decorate graves in Ogden again so we went and visited my Grandpa Jackson's and my Great Grandma Henderson's graves. Kasen and Tai loved running around to find all the different pin wheels decorating all the headstones and hiding in the "enchanted forest". Not very respectful to run around the cemetery, I know, but my kids had been cooped up for a while...
Tai did like helping my mom clean off the headstones though! She kept asking for more and more wet wipes.
Then we got Chinese take out and visited at Aunt Sandy's house for a little while.
Temples still closed, church meetings still cancelled so we went and had another picnic at the temple this month.
Tai is COVERED in scratches from loving on Kiwi. She also told me that now she wants to marry Kiwi... Kasen requested a picture with his rock collection. They each have one on their window sills.
Knox invited us over for another backyard movie night this year! We had
pizza and treats and the kids all played outside and chowed down on
popcorn and cookies!
And Kasen finally was able to start his quickball season. First thing all summer that hasn't been cancelled!! I was surprised they aren't using the T anymore, but have also been impressed with how often Kasen hits the ball when it's pitched to him.
Knox and Quinn are both on his team so Wednesday night is my new favorite. Actually have something to do/look forward to.
Yesterday we headed up to Pineview Reservoir to go camping and boating with Grammy Tammy! My other 2 camping trips to Pineview this summer, for the Air Show and YW camp, were both cancelled, but we still made it to Pineview anyways! We had to leave early this morning cause a rainstorm was coming in, so Kyle didn't get to fish... but we made it.
The kids played on the beach while I helped my mom launch the boat and pull a trailer for the first time! Luckily we were even able to get out because both of these geniuses completely blocked us in. The camp hosts had to come unhitch a stranger's trailer to roll it away so that we could get out.
It was my mom's first time even taking her new old boat out on the water so we let her do a lap before we dared put the kids on, but she didn't sink! Yay!
We all had a good time, thanks for a fun camping trip Mom! Maybe someday my luck will change and it won't rain when I go camping...

When I first browsed through and saw the pictures of the kids on the pillows to watch movies I thought it was all of their barbies and action figures on the couch. It wasn't until I was going back through the full size pictures that I realized it was real kids... lol
