Meeting Kohen and Musical Bedrooms

Sunday afternoon Kasen and Tai came home from being at Grandma Melanie's and they got to meet baby Kohen! They were both so excited to hold him and Kasen let us know that when he and Tai are grown up they are going to be his parents. Haha
I love hearing Kasen talk to him though, "Kohen, babies are so cute and you are a baby! My name is Kasen and you are Kohen and I am your brother and you are mine!"
They are always asking me to uncover his hands when I have them covered up too. They give him binkys and sing him lullabys any time he starts to cry. Kasen keeps wanting to share his snacks and show him his toys, asking when will he open his eyes?!
Kasen has only folded Kohen up in the swing one time... better be the last time though!
Grammy Tammy and Grandma and Grandpa Forsyth and Steph also came to visit!
I think I am the only mom in the whole world that puts their baby in their own bedroom the very first night home. I would never be able to sleep at all if I didn't though. I sleep way too lightly and hear every single little noise. But then Kyle can't sleep worrying about them in the other room. So we bought some baby cameras and Kyle keeps the monitor on his nightstand. Problem solved!
I love this swaddle blanket too. He sleeps so much longer when I use it and we usually get a couple good 4 hour stretches of sleep at night.
And the basement is finished! Kasen and Tai got to sleep in their new bedrooms the night they came back home and have both slept down there all night, every night since!
Tai is loving her new big girl bed too! It was one we found on KSL for $50. I just had to sand off all the tape and stickers and marker all over it and then repainted it. I think it turned out so super cute.
And now Tai's old bedroom upstairs is a little guest bedroom for whoever wants to come stay with us sometime.
Also, I love my people! I have the very best people taking care of me, bringing us meals and all the yummy treats I have been missing. Including a giftcard for some Kneaders french toast that I can't wait to use.
Thank you everyone! I sure love you guys.
