Day Two of my 10th year at Flaming Gorge and our second time camping in our trailer! Black Beauty pulled Cougar up there like a champ. While I played 20 questions with the kids and Kasen trying to get me to guess drool! Haha
Anyways, Kyle had this shirt made of a picture that Kyley and Jordan hastily sent to us one night, definitely crossing a line, but also hilarious. Especially cause when Kyley saw it she asked, "Is that an armpit on your shirt?"
The single picture of proof that I actually was there at Flaming Gorge AND even jumped in the water a couple times! Thanks Kyley!
Kennedy is so cute and wrote Tai a letter a couple weeks ago, with a friendship bracelet she made, asking her to bring her doll to Flaming Gorge. They played dolls all week long! This is Tai with Chelsea Liddiard, Kennedy with Amber and Charly with Emma. Kennedy made matching bracelets for the dolls and even made one for Kasen when he requested one.
Wednesday: We got to go tubing on the Big Mable! And I was surprised at how much Kasen LOVES it. Like the biggest laughing grin the whole time.
We convinced Tai to get out on the tube and she got to go on a little ride before the tube submarined and they all got sucked off the back. She ended up going under water and was not happy about it! All Kasen had to say about it was that he didn't stay on the tube as long that time!
I could watch people on the tube all day. It's so much fun! And there are so many great pictures I have a hard time picking which ones to post so that I can look at them over and over.
His smile makes everything in the world so worth it! I love watching him have so much fun.
This trip was Kohen's first time on the boat and I think he's a fan. He was even dancing to Grandpa's boat music. And I even put sunblock on Kohen so I did NOT sunburn my baby. Again.
Also, his 3rd tooth FINALLY came through on top that day!
Thursday is was rainy so we stayed at camp and played more Dominos and Five Crowns. It's when we learned that Tai gets her constant singing from Kyle. He is always humming or something and I had never noticed before! Haha
Later we made a fire for hot dogs and S'mores though.
Kasen says he's not into S'mores anymore so he just at Reese's Peanut Butter cups instead.
Friday was kneeboarding day. Grandpa told Kasen he had to go, but even after telling us he'd think about it he never did end up trying it.
That night Kennedy and Charly came to have a sleepover in our trailer! And it was beautiful because in the morning Kennedy played with Kohen and told everyone to be quiet cause Amber and Kyle were sleeping and made all the beds, folding up all the blankets!
Saturday, before we headed home we got to have Kelly's Mountain Man for breakfast and go out on the boat one more time. Kasen requested to ride the tube again, but this time Grandpa was a little bit more daring with Kasen and Kennedy. A couple times it got a little rough and Kasen cried because he was scared, but he was all smiles again soon after. Kasen and Kennedy ended up submarining and getting sucked off the tube one time too, but I was impressed with how well Kasen did! He cried for a second, but was fine by the time the boat came around and then hopped right back on the tube for more!
Watching Kyle and Jordan on the tube is my all time FAVORITE! It's been since before we had kids that they have been on the tube together though. We were all crying, laughing SO hard!
Kyle got to go fishing every day we were at Flaming Gorge. He was loving it! And one night Kasen even got to go out on the boat for the evening fishing trip. They even caught a fish too. But I think Kyle must think that it's illegal to keep just one fish. Every time I ask why he didn't bring it home to eat he tells me it's cause he only caught one...
Can't wait for next year!
