5M and 35Y

Kolt turned 5 months old the same day I turned 35 years old!

And so much changed this month. At the beginning of the month he had like 3 weeks of major sleep regression where he was waking up 4x a night. So glad that's over. Then we had a week of constant crying, especially when I was trying to make dinner, but now everything is great again.

I finally moved him up to size 2 diapers and he's wearing 6M clothes.

He is rolling all around so we had to stop using his swaddle sack to sleep. So he also started getting his limbs stuck between the bars. I put up the bumpers in his crib and literally 5 minutes later his arm was between the bars again!

And we started feeding this happy little face some rice cereal.

Kasen recently told me, "Ya know how you're just living and don't even know someone exists, but now that Kolt is here, I'd just die without him! I love him so much!"

I think we all feel the same way about our baby.

For my birthday Kyle made me crepes for breakfast and then we met my Mom and Emma at the Cheesecake Factory for lunch! Thank you Mom!

After we picked the kids up from school we drove up Provo Canyon and hiked Buffalo Peak. The fall leaves were gorgeous! It made for a spectacular birthday. And the whole way down Kohen was telling me, "I'm a great hiker!"

Once we got home, Kyle made me a homemade Kazookie, my favorite!

For Kyle's birthday last week, we went on a twin date with Kyley and Jordan to Sundance to ride the lift and to dinner at Tucanos. We also went to Coldstone afterwards and the girl was not impressed with Kyle telling her that we were just there to smell it.

The kids wanted to make help make Kyle's birthday cake, but he was at work on his birthday so we sang to him on Marco Polo and the kids blew his candles out so that they could have a piece of cake.
