We took the kids to the Circus 7 years ago, when they still had tigers, but now they have been exchanged for buffalo!
When we got there, Kohen said he couldn't see any sea creatures, but was excited to see Spiderman.
Kasen's favorite act was the human slinky... I am just glad he didn't puke all over his bedroom in the middle of the night this time!
Kyle took his Mom and Jack ice fishing, but of course everything they caught is within the slot limit... per usual.
Tai is such a sweetheart with her brothers. And at school too. We got a call from her teacher about how impressed she was with Tai's honesty after one of Tai's friends gave them both class points that they didn't earn. Her teacher tells us that Tai is a leader and a good example and loves her positive presence in class.
The kids are loving piano lessons and even try to write their own songs! We definitely stay busy during the weeks with Kasen doing chess club and both of them having primary activity days every other week and piano practicing, some homework and chores most days. I try to squeeze in Family Home Evening, but it happens about once a month and scripture reading each night. Our favorite new tradition though is Family Friday Movie Night! Every Friday so far this year we've picked a movie to watch together.
They still find time to play with friends though too. Kasen's learned how to fly his drone better and likes taking it to the park to play hide and seek with the kids! I'm just glad he could figure out how to get it all connected to my phone without me having to.
Life can feel like a circus sometimes, but I like it.
