KASEN
Every Friday we get a weekly report from Mz. G, rating Kasen's school work and behavior. Kasen has finally mastered and received full points for controlling his voice! And we found out that it was because he started putting tape on his mouth to help him stop talking. Then when his teacher said no more tape, he was used to it. Haha So proud.
At his Parent Teacher Conference we got to see the rollercoaster he both painted and put together.
He also made a salt map of "Secret Island" and a clay pumpkin at school this year.
-Whenever we watch movies he is always commenting on how he thinks they were made or how they did certain scenes. I am interested to see if that interest continues cause I also find behind the scenes things super fascinating.
TAI
This month I introduced Tai to my American Girl Doll books. I found a bunch of magazines I had saved too. From fall of 1996. I told her she had to read all the books before I'd let her play with my dolls. I want to make sure she cares enough to take care of them. I didn't tell her anything about any of the American Girls and she chose to read Addy's story first. Unfortunately our library doesn't have all the books that my collection is still missing, but they do have some!
-I also helped her deep clean her room one day this month. For like 3 hours! When I told her what a mess it was, she said, "There's not a mess, only fun, laughter and toys!" She saves EVERYTHING and hides it EVERYWHERE.
KOHEN
Kohen loves telling Alexa to play songs for him to dance to. I don't know where he hears about them, but he asks Alexa to play 'I'm a Banana' and 'I am a Coconut' and they are cooky!
-I love how when he can't hear what I'm saying he yells, "Talk louder!!"
-There was one night we had put Kohen to bed and Kolt found his way to his room. We could hear them laughing and playing together for quite awhile and it was so sweet. Until Kohen started singing to Kolt, "Boyyys have a peeeeenis and giiiiirls have a ginaaaaaa!"
-He's getting real good at singing the alphabet song now too.
-One day he wasn't feeling very well and we were snuggling my the fire. He said, "Mom, my eyes keep shutting." then 2 seconds later he was snoring. Love hearing them breathe while they sleep.
Luckily Timpanogos Temple does a few Monday morning sessions so that we go make it to the temple this month. Thank you Heidi for watching our kids so that we could go.
"If we are waiting until it will no longer be a sacrifice in order to do good things, then we are missing the point."
Life isn't supposed to be east or comfortable, but I believe that becoming more is worth it.
-Kyle also went ice fishing again and brought home fish for dinner this time! Thanks Kyle! The kids all ate it with me too.
We also visited Dakota's grave will all the cousins again this year. It was much warmer this time though. And Kolt sucked on his first sucker. Mostly he just drooled all down the front of his shirt.

Happy Leap Year!
