On Friday, we checked the kids out of school early to go camping in the Uintas, a new spot we've never been to, near Mirror Lake.
First thing Saturday morning we ended up going on an almost 12 mile hike up to Hell Hole Lake, while Kelly stayed home to watch all the kids for 6 hours. We had to find our way across a couple streams, couldn't see the trail sometimes and had to keep up with Roy and Kristy's brisk pace, but we made it!
Back at camp Kristy had so many fun crafts for the kids! Beads and painting and they all go to tie dye shirts too. Kohen and I spent a few minutes laying down to look at the clouds and I loved hearing all the things he could see in them.
Kasen helped Kohen tie dye his shirt and Charly and Tai made a shirt for Roy.
Kolt spent most of his time playing over in Wayne's water bowl and getting all wet.
Sunday night the kids got to make S'mores while others went fishing at the lake. Then we all played a new game that night called Bonanza.
Monday morning the kids painted baking soda with vinegar, danced in a Conga line and then got to play money ball with Roy. Tai got $20, Kohen got $1 and Kasen got $11.
Roy also got out some RC cars for the kids to play with and keep. They sure love Roy and Kristy!
Tai and Charly tried to make their shirts look the same, but they ended up being colored opposite of each other, which is turned out pretty cute too! Kohen especially loves his lava fire shirt, Kasen loves his firework shirt and Kennedy made a cute one for Kolt.
