We went and rode the train at the train park Saturday morning! And Kohen was the one to make them stop the train for dragging his feet after they told him "Hands and FEET inside the ride at all times!"
Then we went to Tooele to go swimming with Grammy and EmmaLee.
Like I said, he wouldn't wear them to the rodeo, but to the pool, absolutely! Ridiculous.
I was happy this pool let him wear his water wings so he could get better practice swimming than with a life jacket on. He loved the lazy river and kept asking for me to go on the "water ride" with him.

Kohen didn't want to do the slide, but once I took Kolt down, that is all he wanted to do after! He'd point and say, "Whee". There was also spraying water during one part of the last river and I'd tell him to close his eyes to go under it. After a couple times around, as soon as he's see the spray he'd look back and me, point to the water and say, "eyeball" then put his head down to go under.
Kasen and Tai spent most of their time on the diving boards. Grammy showed Tai how to dive, but Tai just liked jumping. She even tried a front flip and kept going off the high dive. Kasen went up the stairs multiple times, but never quite got the nerve to jump off the high one. Tai also learned about the pain of back flops during one of her jumps. Ouch!
Thank you for taking us swimming Grammy!
Today we went to the Days of 47 parade float preview with the Stubbs. Kasen loved how much candy he got for all the fun activities that each float had for the kids to do. They got to vote for their favorite ones and I think my favorite was the taffy pulling one. I didn't realize how many stakes there are that make parade floats.
