He is Risen!

First of all, I am so grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ and the knowledge I have that He lives!
Because He lives I know that all of us will have the chance to live again too and that families can be together forever.
Because He died for us and rose the third day everything that is unfair about this life will one day be made right.
And because He lives we can have truth, hope and happiness in our lives today as we follow His perfect example for us.
I was able to finish reading the Book of Mormon again this last week and am so grateful for the truth and power it holds.  I know it is a true book and am excited to start my goal of reading it in portuguese again now!
A few weeks ago Grandma Tammy gave Kasen and Naomi their Easter baskets early since we didn't get to see Naomi over Easter weekend.

Kasen did not hesitate to dig right in and pull out all his fun treats!
We also had an Easter picnic with Mom Tammy the day before Easter, even though it was a little chilly.
He got some fun Easter toys from Mom Annette also and I'm pretty sure his favorite is the touch and feel animal book.  He LOVES touching it and just laughs!

Easter morning we woke up in Elkridge.  It was a rough weekend though because EVERYONE had been or still was sick!
Unfortunately that was Kasen's fault.
He got an Easter basket from us with some swim diapers to finally go swimming! And an Easter basket from Melanie and Kelly with some 18Month jammies (that already fit him) and some big bubbles that Kyle and Kasen have already played with together.
Kasen also got his third tooth! One of his top ones finally broke through, so I guess it's good that we got all the pain and sickness over all at the same time!
Later the cousins had an easter egg hunt.
At first Kasen was confused about the eggs...

But it didn't take him long to figure out what it was all about!
Thank you to all the Grandparents for the fun treats!
Happy Easter.
