My resolution for 2017 has been accomplished!!
I ran my first (and possibly my last) 10K race this morning in Brigham City for Peach Days!
I'd been looking all year for a 10K race to do this fall and Peach Days sounded more fun than Onion Days so Peach Days it was!

I was so happy that Kristi came to do it with me too! She is a rockstar!
I've been running 3x a week since January and barely made it and she just had a baby in May and has been rocking it!
This face happened before I knew about the hills.
Research your routes before you run people!
There were some mild inclines in the beginning and I was like "Are you kidding me?!" but then there were like 3 more HUGE HILLS that made me feel like I was running in place trying to go up them.
It was the worst!
Friends don't let friends sign up for races with giant hills. Sorry Kristi!
Never again will we run the Peach Days race. Never again.
Also, I wasn't a huge fan of running the last 7 blocks along the parade route with everyone watching, but WE DID IT!
PC: Jake- Good Job little bro
I had been thinking about this race for months. It feels so good to have it over now and know that I was able to make it! Now I don't have to wonder if I was going to break my leg before I got a chance to run :)
Running a 10K was my marathon. A 5K was my half marathon and there is no way I would ever do a real 1/2 or full marathon.
I just don't love running THAT much. I run because I love food :)
Now that I know I can run a 10K my curiosity has been filled. All you marathon runners out there: Hats off to you!
I loved seeing Kasen at the finish line! He just stood there and stared at me, no waving or clapping, but he did come right over to share his candy almonds with me!
We stayed for part of the parade so Kasen could eat laffy taffy and otter pops for breakfast!
Then we went to Preston's baptism and Presley's blessing!
Blessings all around, minus getting stung by a wasp in my car.
Also, I have thee BEST best friend EVER! I love her.
I have awesome people. Thanks for encouraging me to reach my goals!
And for a super great day.
