President's Day

Over President's Day weekend we were invited to our neighbor's cabin down in Parowan and had so much fun with the Easons and Gneitings! Luckily it was Stake Conference so we didn't even need to find subs for any of our church callings.

We drove down Saturday morning and listened to The Greatest Showman soundtrack the whole way!
That afternoon Becca and I took the kids to a park while everyone else went shooting.
Later Kasen got to go with Corby on a ride in the Razor! He loved it!
"Looking for animals. Chickens on the farm!"
After an amazing turkey dinner (smoked on the Traeger) the girls left to get everyone ice cream before our game of Imaginiff.
The kids had a bath party and loved playing with these car tracks. Watching Knox and Tai run after the cars, trying to catch them was so funny! They'd bend over and miss nearly every time.
Sunday night we were hit with about 10 inches of snow! Same night that Kyle hopped out of bed in a sleep walking panic and stepped on Kasen, woke him up, then he slept in our bed with us for the rest of the night.
So Becca brought some inside in bowls for the kids to play with. And eat. Kasen loves to eat the snow! Hank says it tastes like a snowcone.
He did make a little snowman with Becca though. With a hat, eyes, mouth, nose etc... Just kept adding little pieces of snow to it!
Kyle was so excited to play his new Munchkin game! With Treasure (Trevor). Be careful with Corby, he sneaks up and wins without anybody even knowing! Very anti-climactic.
Then we went and played in the SNOW!
Sledding didn't work too well because the snow was so deep, but we tried.
The kids made snow angels instead!
Luckily the roads weren't too bad at all to drive home last night.
Tai threw up all over soon after we left though. Then we had to pick up Peeka from Hayden and Karissa's house. So the wet dog and vomit smell combined was fantastic.
Kyle was pretty impressed that he caught back up to Trevor and Corby after we had to stop and clean Tai up.
I think the best part of the trip though was Hank asking Kyle if he was going to eat all the food in the cabin. Haha
This morning I took Tai out into the snow for her first time! She stood in it for awhile, but the second time she fell she was done! Plus it was naptime.
I loved how she'd just look at her gloves though!
 So adorable. She melts me!
Spent all his snow time eating the snow. Of course!
