It was the first Father's day that I got to celebrate both my boys on the same day. Extra special because it was Kasen being born 3 years ago that made Kyle a Father! And an amazing Father is is too! I could not have found a better dad in all the land. He tells me daily how much he loves our kids and shows them too.
When it's your birthday, you get to eat birthday cupcakes for breakfast!
We made dad eggs and bacon on an english muffin sandwich with hash browns for breakfast though!
And he got a new basketball with a card that Kasen colored for him.
I asked Kasen what he wanted to tell dad, so this is what his card said:
"I love you so much dad! Thankful play with me, I always say that! Dad didn't have a internet, I want to play games on dad's phone. You make me happy, Love you happy more. Happy Father's Day Daddah Kyle! a one kiss and a one hug."
And now we each have a paper on the fridge that Kasen made in nursery.
We were going to go on a little hike together, but it was raining and windy so we went out to fly Kasen's new minion kite instead!
We had a hard time keeping it up so when it would fall Kasen would run down and throw it up to get it back in the air again!
Flying a minion holding a cupcake kite with your dad is definitely the best way to spend your birthday when it's also Father's Day!
