This n' That

I spent May having quite a bit of fun with these two!
We went on a little adventure with Stephanie to Lambert Park in Alpine.
There was an unexpected hike and unfortunately the poppies hadn't even bloomed yet either, but we still took some pictures with the one flower that was there.
We also go on walks to the park quite a bit. Tai has no problem going up the giant, steep stairs to the top of the slides and riding them down on her tummy! I love that they'll both just go play now and I get to hang out on the grass and not worry too much.
I love when I tell Kasen to do something and he'll say, "That's a GREAT idea!"
Or sometimes he'll also say, "I'm working on it!"
And once in a while he says, "Aye aye mom!" which I have no idea where he learned.
We're trying to get Kasen to stop always asking for a kiss when he gets "hurt" so I've been just rubbing his "Owies" and telling him he's rough and tough, but now he asks me to "rub it" when he gets hurt sometimes. Usually he still wants a kiss though.
Since it's been warmer outside when I ask him what he wants to eat for lunch or dinner he says, "Ummm, a picnic!" (which means he wants to eat outside) haha I always wonder what food he thinks a picnic is.
We went to Stephanie's final choir concert and Kasen loved it! They sang songs from Moana, Greatest Showman, High School Musical and Les Mis. Then for the last one EmmaLee and I went up with the Alumni to sing with her!
We also stopped at Purple Turtle afterwards for some ice cream with Grandma and Grandpa.
This week we went to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. There is a little star tunnel in there that Kasen would not walk though with me. Of course he then changed his mind 1/2 way through the museum and wanted to go back. So we turned around and went all the way back so he could walk though the star tunnel. Tai wasn't a fan of it though either.
They were excited to find Sarah though! (The dinosaur on land before time)

Now that Josh is filling out medical school applications we took some head shots for him up at Utah State. Kasen and Tai loved running around while we were there. And spinning.
Tai would have the most terrified look on her face, but at soon and we put her down she'd say "spin!"
If either of them decide to go to Utah State this will be worth having :)
We've also been with our friends to the Splash Pad in Lehi twice now. Today we were there for 4 hours! I love that Tai is so used to bows that she keeps her little Gilligan hat on too.
Cozette's boy, Braxton, is 5 years older than Kasen, but was the sweetest playing with him today! He asked him to have a water fight and would help Kasen fill up his water toy after every he squirted him.
The other exciting news is that Kyle won HQ Trivia! It's a game we play on our phones. You have to answer 12 questions and only have 10 seconds, but if you get all of them right you split a $5,000 cash prize with all the winners.
Kyle won $2.27
Haha we are rich!
