We have been filling this summer UP! Going non-stop to all the fun things every day.
So here's all the rest of June:
Tai had her 18 month and Kasen his 3 year well check visit at the doctor and they are both doing great! Tai weighs 24lbs. and is off the charts with her height and Kasen is 34lbs. Tai would hold onto the drawer handles and swing herself under the desk in the doctors office and he thought that was the funniest thing!

We went with my mom to the Scottish festival, cheered for the Forsyth Clan and Kasen got his first little snow cone.
Kasen LOVES his dad and I LOVE watching them together. He's his little buckaroo. It's the best.
And
I love Arctic Circle ice cream in a waffle cone because I can get 2
courtesy cones for the backseat, which are the perfect size! As long as
someone doesn't fall asleep eating it...
All the summer fun just wears them right out!
All the summer fun just wears them right out!
We've
had almost all the friends over to swim with us already and have gone
to Emma's pool to swim there a couple times too! We play and eat
Popsicles and enjoy the summer sun. Fun news for us is that Jon and
Sydney just moved to City Center out here with us and they are in our
stake!
Running errands for his birthday supplies.
We took Kasen bowling for the first time and it was a blast!
He
loved carrying his ball over to the track and would point it where he
wanted. Even got 2 spares all on his own and would get so excited!
His little bowling shoes are adorable.
We
took him downstairs to play Wii bowling the next day and he didn't
catch on to that as well, but loves the Wii flying game that goes into a
volcano!
The
easel from Grammy Tammy came in the mail and I love that it has 2 sides
so that Tai can color while Kasen paints! Kasen told me he was painting
himself. "My underwear, my bum, my penis." Haha Very thorough.
Now Tai is using her left hand too...
Splash Pad. Every Friday. Summer Tradition.
We
walked over to Sumo's Shaved Ice and I have been craving another one
ever since! It's more like slush than ice and I love that! So yummy!
We
stayed a night at Grammy Tammy's house to celebrate her birthday with
her at Crystal Hot Springs and Tai loved seeing her "Gahs" (dogs). She's
good at singing happy birthday too! Sometimes she'll just sing it to
herself in her highchair.
Kasen
is doing great swimming around by himself in his life jacket, but he
still won't jump in by himself, still doesn't like his head going under
the water.
We love cousin time!
I
painted Tai's toes and fingernails for the first time and it's
adorable! Along with her little crisscross swimsuit tan lines on her
back. Plus she knows how to pucker up for a kiss now. I am in love!
We
also love Cowabunga Bay! We went for the first time because police
families got in for free this last week. I love that there are places
showing appreciation for law enforcement, they deserve it.
So we went with the Eason's and Gneiting's and had lots of fun. Even though it got cold.
I took Kasen on one slide, but we mostly floated around the lazy river.
Friday
we drove down to have dinner with my parents at their camping spot at
Maple Grove and Kasen told me that Stephanie is his best friend when we
pulled up!
And that day she was!
This
picture cracks me up because both Kyle and I know exactly what Tai is
doing in this picture! She is grinning over there because she is
ignoring me. Sometimes when we call her name she will turn completely
around and ignore us and think it's so funny. She does it in the high
chair all the time, even though she can't even turn all the way around.
Grandma's bubble machine was so much fun though!
Grandma and Grandpa Forsyth came to have dinner with us too, but the best was dessert.
Scones with raspberry honey butter! Can't have scones without honey butter. Just like I can't have Oreos without milk.
Wayyyy better than s'mores too. And Tai loves scones just as much as me,
if not more. She ate so many scones! And I just let her keep eating them with her dirtiest little hands and all.
We had to convince Kasen to eat his, but once he did, he loved it.
Kasen kept asking Stephanie to sit on the stair with him and "chill"
Today we went to Bentley's baptism and now all Kasen can talk about is how he wants to be baptized!
Paid
another $1000 ER bill from when I passed out. $1250 total and medical
records does not negotiate! I could have bought 1,845 Gatorades that
would have helped me more than going to that ER. Never again.
Cheers to the first half of summer <3
Challenge accepted to beat it the second half ;)
