Meet Super Potamus!
Ashley and I ALMOST went to Build-a-Bears pay your age day, but then changed our minds that morning and went to the splash pad instead. Greatest idea ever too!
We did go back with Jon and Sydney to use their super lame vouchers they gave away to make up for their massive pay your age day failure though.
Kasen picked out a dinosaur, even though I thought the cheaper monkey was super cute. All he wanted was his dino. And every time we asked what he wanted to name it he replied, "Super Potamus!"
No idea where that came from, but it's stuck. And he even Roars too!
Kasen was so shy at first, but was adorable rubbing the heart between his hands, on his heart and tummy, shaking it then giving it a wish and a kiss. He also got to step on the pedal to stuff him.
They gave their animals baths and we made birth certificates then let him color his house when we got home. He LOVES Super Potamus.
We also walked to the shaved ice shack this week, and learned that 5pm is still too early to walk over there! It was so hot! I feel like I have not stopped dripping sweat once this summer.
Kasen loves the Spiderman snowcone though and when Cooper asked Kasen if he had a brain freeze Kasen replied, "No, it's Spiderman!"
I saw a picture of mango sticky rice from a food truck on Instagram (suzythaifood)

and that day I looked up where it would be so that I could go get some!
We found it in Orem on the way to the temple and I want to eat it every day now.
Except without my kids because all Tai does from the back seat of the car is scream, "bite, Bite, BITE!!"

| "Pray He is there, speak He is listening. You are His child, His love now surrounds you." |
Tai always has her feet up, enjoying the ride.
And Kasen has started this new thing where he wants to always be wearing every pair of underwear that he owns. Which happens to be 13 (plus his pajama pants makes 14 layers!)
"Could I BE wearing anymore clothes?!"
The new Cory Wride Memorial Park opened on June 30th and we went there 4 times in one week! And ate some watermelon :)
We also had a Summer Salad Social for Relief Society and it was the best thing ever!
Just eating all the summer salads?! Deliciously genius. YUM

| Megan, Megan, Carrie, Me |
Then since Megan was visiting from Alabama I hosted another "high school reunion"!
I invited 11 friends, but only 3 were able to make it. Megan even drove 2 hours to come, but it was so great to visit with them and say "Remember when?!"
We graduated 12 years ago and have 12 kids, but I love that we still get together.
I am so super grateful that I had good friends in high school. It makes such a difference for you life. Right after 8th grade I switched friend groups because of the path some of my other friends were taking and even though I stayed friends with people that weren't LDS, they were the ones that still respected my standards and didn't ask me to lower them.

Kasen loved having so many friends over to feed Popsicles to.
Thanks for coming guys!
Then Saturday night (after Naomi's Christmas in July 1/2 birthday party) we went with my mom and fam to the Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo for the 2nd year in a row. Kasen got to wear his cowboy boots and cowboy hat like Woody too!
Yay for the Rodeo.

After the mutton bustin Kasen told me that it was his turn to ride a sheep.
The motorcycles at the end are always a favorite too!Yay for the Rodeo.
