-Flaming Gorge- 2018- Deer Run Campground-
We drove up to Flaming Gorge to meet Kyle's family on Saturday.
And on Sunday I didn't even get Tai dressed! She was so dirty from playing in the dirt and sand with her cousins. I did't even care as long as she was happy. Vacation means I'm not spending my ENTIRE day cleaning up kids. Kyle forgot his church clothes so he stayed at the trailer with her while the rest of us went to sacrament meeting on Sunday, where Kasen collected the hymn books from 2 benches of people and passed them back out again after he stacked and counted them. Somewhere in the middle though he decided to SPIT over the bench and got taken out. He threw a good 15-20 minute tantrum outside before we went back in.
When we got back from church though he was almost done making the famous Mountain Man breakfast. Kyle's family makes it every time we go camping, it's a favorite. It's pretty much like the inside of a Beto's breakfast burrito, but better.
This years game that we played every day was Cover Your Assets and I won once, the time that Kyle wasn't playing...
Then Monday morning we went out on the boat!
Kyle slalom skied again and can I tell you how much he is just the best!
He always makes me a plate of food and also brings me Oreos WITH milk whenever he sneaks some for himself.
He's so good that he can touch his elbow to the water ;)
Tai loves the boat too! Kyle and Kasen left Tuesday morning to go fishing on the boat and while they were gone Tai kept saying, "hand" to take me over to the "boat".
They both LOVE Kyle and were fighting over a spot on him to fall asleep.
Kasen had to pee so bad, but it took some convincing for him to stand up and pee off the back of the boat. Kyle also taught him to pee on a tree back at camp, which he decided to do a second time right in the middle of dinner.
He thought it was hilarious anytime someone fell behind the boat, but then was always telling grandpa to go faster when we had to slow down to turn around and get them.
We went out again later that night and swam. Kasen was swimming all over the lake! I raced him back to the boat and he beat me!
We went out on the boat one more time Tuesday before driving home. We came in early too cause a huge rain storm hit us! Luckily the tent was dry enough by the time we packed it up to go.
Sleeping was rough cause our air mattress has a hole so it was flat after a couple hours each night. And Kasen was in the middle of us.
It was also Peeka's first time camping. She didn't bark nearly as much as I thought she would!
The second night she slept in the porch area of our tent, but sneaked out in the morning and got a good shock to her collar and hurried back. Mostly she stayed chained up, but all the kids loved going over to pet her.
