Monday night we carved our pumpkins!
I'm
so glad I have so many friends now that love Halloween as much as I do.
I feel like there were quite a few years in there that I tried so hard
to get people over for a fun Halloween dinner and nobody ever wanted to
come. So before we carved pumpkins we had some white chicken chili,
sweet cornbread and witches brew root beer!

picked out a spider hanging from it's web to carve in our pumpkin so I
was on goop scoop duty and then Kyle cut out the picture. We're still at
the point where we think we're doing fun things for the kids, but
really it's still for us cause they aren't sure they even care yet.

loved the end result though! He's been asking if we can put a candle in
his pumpkin yet cause he wants to see it glow. And for 5 days we've
been counting down to Halloween cause he keeps asking if it's Halloween
yet! It's finally here and I'm so excited that he's finally excited
about holidays.
Now we are just eating our pumpkin seeds and waiting until it gets dark...
