The Costumes and Trick-or-Treatin

I love people that dress up on Halloween and I love seeing what people dress up as on Halloween.
And I LOVE seeing homemade costumes. Those people are EXTRA awesome.
I feel like you get to know people a little better when you see them on Halloween. Seeing whether they are fun or creative and to what level, what things they like, movies they are in to, their sense of humor, what they are willing to wear for someone they love perhaps. I like hearing about people's costumes. It's all just so fun to me!
This is Kasen's fourth Halloween and it was the best one yet!
This year he was a bear and had his bear ROAR down.
Little Miss Tai Lynn was the lion that Kasen wore 2 years ago, except she got a pink bow to go with it cause she is a girl lion... and she knows how to ROAR as good as Kasen!
She thought her hands were so funny.
More hugs. I LOVE the hugs.
 Dah dah dah duh!
Our complete Lions and Tigers and Bears ensemble.
The only thing I had to buy this year was Kasen's coat! I made Kyle's shirt with an iron on transfer, borrowed the Tigger costume from Melanie and had the lion costume from 2 years ago. I'm sure we will use it again in the future too.
 Yay for family group costumes!
And yay for me finding an easy costume for Kyle to participate in! Took minimal convincing.
Jon and Sydney came over to go trick-or-treating with us since they live down the road.
My mom came to see the kids costumes again this year too! So she took a turn staying to hand out candy then Kyle went back and switched with her.
Tai was so cute. The first piece of candy she got she just held in her hand so the second house we went to she tried putting her piece of candy back in their bowl. She figured it out by the end though and never stopped holding my hand the whole night. I never heard her say trick-or-treat, but when she'd leave a door she'd say, "halloween!"
Also, one of our neighbors had a table set up outside making scones and homemade doughnuts for the trick-or-treaters! Ummm YUM!
This year we even made it down 2 street instead of just one! Then we came back and had some of Sydney's yummy Cincinnati Chili over spaghetti noodles and I made the kids some dirt cups, complete with the gummy bears that Walmart substituted my gummy worms for.
 Happiest of Halloweens!
